As the title states, are you for or against homosexual couples having the right to become married. Post here why or why not.
Personally, I support the fight for equal rights amongst homo- and heterosexual couples' right to marry. Any other opinions?

I support same-sex marriage. If they want to be as miserable as the rest of us, we're in no place to stop them

I don't care. Who marries who is none of my business, outside of Pokemon. Neutral opinion (an oxymoron, I know): Just a prediction. What right do homosexuals have to marry that other groups (incest-couples, pedophiles, etc) don't have? See what I'm getting at? As a matter of fact... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pro-pedophile_activism

I'm for it. The right of betrothal is not one that should be overlooked for those of the same sex.

I'm against gay marriages because it makes baby Jesus cry and sends the gay people involved to Hell so that they can suffer there for all eternity like evolutionists, pro-abortionists and liberals.

Kidding!
Yeah, I got nothin' against homosexual marriages. We are defined by our personalities, not our sexualities.

I have argued for it many times, and I have yet to hear a reasonable reason for them to not get married

Actually I'm for it but I'm mostly against it at the same because I think America is still too immature to handle gay marriage. Why? Gay people tend to have lower life spans and mental problems. Some would probably say that's just God punishing them but I believe it's most likely the people who thinks homosexuals is gross and immoral abusing them maliciously to the point where they would have these problems. I'm for it but... there's just too many negative and ignorant people out there.

And are there any statistical facts to prove that they're more likely to have mental problems than heterosexual individuals?

Yeah, alot of research shows the Gay lifestyle is not something that should be encouraged as it leads to mental disorder, a much shorter life expectancy and other problems. I believe it, despite people saying Homosexuality is accepted I still see them being treated like sh*t in society some including their own family. Hell I remember when my stepfather told me "If you become gay I'll kill you" years ago and even though he was in a joking mood I could tell he was being serious by his change in tone

But you know, it doesn't matter if it should be encouraged or not, it's not something you can exactly change about yourself. Hide it perhaps, from society.
I do agree that you increase your chances of becoming an enemy of society by 'coming out'. Most of my family are ridiculously homophobic, but I don't see how being straight or gay will affect your chances of being mentally ill. It isn't as if being homosexul in and of itself is a mental disorder.

Severe stress, severe depression, and constant abuse can lead to mental illness. Which alot of homosexuals go through everyday. Look at Gaara for example, he was treated like dirt most of his life and what happened? He became a crazy murderer who thought of his bijuu as his "mom" and killing to feed "her". The worst torture you can ever give a human being is to deny them love and acceptance. Love is just like water without it we slowly but surely die. So is same sex marriage really worth the abuse?

I know plenty about abuse, and I'll leave that at that.
Denying them the right that, if they so choose, they CAN get married, is just as intolerable as abusing them if they DO decide to. Imagine if women in general had taken this approach to obtaining the right to vote, a 'no, they might not like it' approach. Or if African-Americans had, 'no, they won't like it if we try to be equal, they might abuse us', then no one would have ever accomplished anything.
Fear of doing something is the sworn enemy of progress. And being homosexual or heterosexual is just as much a part of someone's identity as being female or male or being black or white or any other race.

Don't take it personally, it's just a religion thing.
