LOL you read me like a book A_f. Of course I would make doujins of your favourite characters having hot sweaty oral and anal sex first before I would make my own manga.

^ lol, thanks everybody Praetor - I didn't even know I was good at writing until I started writing fics. All I did was learn from the writing styles of books and other fics and applied it to my own style. I actually already considered writing my own book, I even already have an idea for one. A action series on an athiest who becomes a Guardian Angel but I haven't started writing it yet I'm just doing alot of research right now. Research? It's a fictional book, isn't it?

Tim, I feel the sudden urge to compliment you. (:

And Preator, there are many fictional books which have been based off factual information.

Yes it is, but even for a fictional book you may need to do alot of research. 9 times out of ten your readers are going to know their stuff and will criticize you in a moments notice if you get something wrong. I'm dealing with religion here, and you know how people are about that... I'm doing research on guardian/archangles, demons, how they is believed to affect our world etc. The DaVinci Code for example is fictional and yet that took long hours of research to make.

Bah, bad example, Tim! Even though Dan was accurate, or at least tried to be, Brown still didn't make a plausible plot out of the book. Neither is it brilliant, nor devastatingly horrible, but it just doesn't have that ... oomph (in need of a better word)... which readers want to find, grasp and hold onto for the duration of the whole reading experience.

The movie wasn't that bad though.
But yeah, research needs to be done, especially if you're serious on improvement and making the fic as good as possible.
Unless it's one of those stories that arn't stories but posted so the person gets some reviews and wastes 5 minutes of my life. Then you can have a acid trip bang your head on the keyboard for Two minutes and still get 30 reviews.

^ If something is THAT bad then how in the world are they getting reviews in the first place? I HATE it when reviewers lie to these horrible authors. Grow some balls and tell these people the truth so they can improve. A_f- Wow A_a really? I never actually read the book but I thought the movie was brilliant. I could have never come up with something like that is the book really that bad? I have heard the book was criticized for historical inaccuracies if that's what your saying.

It wasn't bad, just horribly long-winded, although I do admit the movie was friggin' awesome. But they're just my opinions; others seem to worship Dan Brown.
