ok in my weak advanceshipping moment right now... I like this pairing but ... we all know that its not likely for Pokemon to have such moments... or at least it wont happen if we don't do something like... demanding it from the animators directly.... damn! I so want it to 'Really' happen....

We just had a major hint given to us -- the ribbon hint. Since Bulbapedia is back up here are some of the clues in the movie: I'll add in one more hint. Go to this part of the movie: www.serebii.net/movies/kyogre/pics14.shtmlKnowing that May was already upset that Manaphy was going to be released, Ash knew that May would be even more depressed when Manaphy was upset about being away from May. So when Manaphy cried, May and Ash ran to the edge of the dock. They were helpless to do anything, but it showed that May cares for Manaphy and Ash cares for May and Manaphy.

^ Ash was worried about May because she is sad that Manaphy was going to be released.
When Manaphy cried, Ash became even more worried because he knows that May would be even sadder when Manaphy does not want to be seperated from May either. Of course, he also became worried about Manaphy too.
I hope that was not too confusing.

Yeah, that's true. I have been working on my fic an I found a hint: On "The right place and the right mime", Max is in Pallet, right? When May asks him "What are you doing here?" he answers with "after you left, I started mising you", that means she left for Pallet town, and that Max got there before her

not to contradict to hints, but all the hints includes being worried, caring, and shared memories with one another. I had similar moments with a lot of very close Lady friends(not to confuse with girlfriends) including to the whole "she thought I died moments" and I think none of them nor did I think of each other more than friends...
BUT! thats my life... what I am looking for is a moment when May and/or Ash were jealous, blushing, holding hands, staring at each other, etc. You know! some real signs of affection...
P.S. sorry kinda irritated due to the lack of romance... maybe I'm getting too in to this....

If that's what you want, then here are a few... ...Go Go Ludicolo: When confronted by Max whether she wants Ash to win over her Dad, Norman of the Petalburg Gym, May gives flustered responses. While Max is quick to make up his mind and cheer for his father, May on the other hand sides with Ash. Max yells, "What, how can you want Ash to win over our Dad?" to which May blushes nervously and says, "Well I want Dad to win... but I don't want Ash to lose!" May's choice was made up from the beginning to cheer for Ash over her father, and each time Max confronts her about it, she blushes nervously and doesn't want to give him a clear answer. www.serebii.net/anime/pictures/houen/343ps1.shtml...Date Expectations: In the middle of the episode, Ash and May are separated from the group. May does her expedition routine and thinks about the concept of being lost with Ash in the woods forever. This idea causes her to have little red blushes on her cheeks. ...Harley Rides Again: James says to Ash that they were helping his girl (May) in the contest. ...Pokemon Rangers And The Temple Of The Sea: As Ash and May go swimming with Manaphy, they continuously shoot glances at each other and smile. This is accompanied by a school of Luvdisc, Pokémon thought to symbolize love. ...And in the recent episodes, DP 79: Before May leaves to return to Johto, she and the rest of the group share goodbyes. She and Ash speak last, each telling the other to do their best in their respective paths. It is only when May is speaking with Ash (despite the fact she was exchanging farewells with everyone) that she holds her heart. Sp1derp1g - We know that May went to Pallet Town, but how does Max leaving before May and the conversation between him and May ("What are you doing here?" he answers with "after you left, I started mising you") help Advanceshipping?

The thing is why she left to Pallet, other than to be with Ash? She even notices the connection between their Bulbasaurs. And I went slightly off-topic...

Yes, I know that. "What are you doing here?" he answers with "after YOU left, I started mising you" But when May says you, she was talking to Max, not Ash. In any case, what you said is true.

I knew I was right when I said that May put her hand over her heart when she was talking to Ash in her last appearance.
I forgot the exact words though...
