I got this idea from a thread on BMGf. What you have to do is take an anime/manga character and put them into SSBB. If you're like me, you know almost nothing about how the movesets, taunts, etc. work, but do the best you can. I based mine on how the DOJO outlines the movesets.
The following template may help:
Character: Series: Symbol: Weight:
Character Description (role in the mange/anime series, how they work in Brawl, etc.)
Moves Standard Special: Move name - Effect/Damage Side Special: Move name - Effect/Damage Up Special: Move name - Effect/Damage Down Special: Move name - Effect/Damage Recovery: Move name - Effect/Damage Final Smash: Move name - Effect/Damage
Taunts Taunt 1 name - Effect Taunt 2 name - Effect Taunt 3 name - Effect
Costumes Costume 1 name - Description Costume 2 name - Description Costume 3 name - Description Costume 4 name - Description Costume 5 name - Description
If you like, you may link to images of the character using the IMG tags

Character: Chi Series: Chobits Symbol: Pale-blue oval with an ear port in the centre Weight: Light
Chi is one of the protagonists of the manga series Chobits, and it's anime adaptation. She is a persocom, an android that is shaped, feels like, acts like and is almost indistinguishable from a genuine human. More than that, she is one of only two Chobits; legendary Persocom's that are said to have emotions and can act without any programming, or even an Operating System.
While she moves about the stage and does not hide in the background, in the game she is somewhat similar to the Pokemon Trainer in that she rarely does any fighting directly. Instead, she prefers to summon characters from the Chobits universe to fight for her, although she can certainly be hit by attacks and does perform a few attacks solo.
When she is hit, she can be sent back quite a respectable distance depending on the opponent's weight class. Despite that, for any of her attacks to do respectable damage she must be close to the opponent. This makes Chi a difficult character to use, and true mastery is hard to accomplish.
Moves Standard Special: Atashi - Chi summons Atashi from a "A City With No People", and throws her at the opponent(s). Less damage is dealed on consecutive hits, similar to Pikachu's Thunder Jolt. Side Special: Not for me - As an opponent comes in close, Chi momentarily tethers them with her cables, freezing them in place. They are raised into the air and then thrown. The heavier the opponent, the more damage is done. Up Special: Concussive Blast - Chi tethers an opponent with her cables and unleashes a concussive blast to send them flying. Conversely from her Side Special move, the lighter the opponent, the more damage is done. Down Special: Sumomo - Chi summons Sumomo who will blow her whistle to start the wakey-wakey exercises. The whistle bursts do small amounts of damage and, like Mario's F.L.U.D.D., will push an opponent backwards. Recovery: Gravityless - Chi raises herself vertically a good distance and then jumps left or right depending on which way the character faces. Vertical speed is slow, although her horizontal speed is fast. Final Smash: The Person Just For Me - Chi calls Hideki to her side. They stare at each other and then a thick, white light shoots into the sky. Anyone hit by this attack sustains massive amounts of damage. Chi can walk around the stage while this happens, and she will be invulnerable until Hideki disappears and the attack ends.
Taunts Chiiii - Chi says her name while clasping her hands together. Underpants - Chi pulls out a pair of underpants (or on very rare occassions, boxers that say "Good Job") and stretches the waistbands before throwing them. The underpants do no damage, although the boxers will cause a very small amount of damage. Bakery - Chi will pull a cake out of hammerspace and smile sweetly.
Costumes First clothes - The default clothing; Chi wears her plain brown dress. Kidnapped - Chi wears the white and lavender dress she had on when she was kidnapped by Yoshiyuki Kojima. Discovery - Chi is wrapped in white bindings. Apron - Chi wears her bakery uniform. Freya - Unlockable costume; Chi will be in Freya's black dress.

Character: Kenshin Himura Series: Rurouni Kenshin Symbol: A Red Cross Shaped Scar Weight: Light
Kenshin Himura is the titular character from the anime and manga series, Rurouni Kenshin. Once known throughout Japan as the legendary Hitokiri Battousai, Kenshin gave up a life of killing to become a wandering swordsman who protected others. As a part of his oath not to kill, he carries a Sakabatou (Reverse Bladed Sword) which, when used conventionally cannot kill another person. Despite his oath not to kill Kenshin is a powerful swordsman and is incredibly quick. He has in the past been prone to regression into his former self and can become quite brutal and violent. However as time wore on he has managed to suppress Battousai from his personality.
Kenshin is a light weight character and is very fast. His moves come out quickly and he has impeccable recovery. Being a light weighter character he is prone to being knocked back quite long distances, his recovery moves however allow him to deal with such instances where he may be knocked back far. Kenshin is easy to use, but difficult to master, especially when it comes to his Final Smash, which is extremely devastating and if used in the right circumstances can help turn the tide in a match.
Moves Standard Special: Ryushosen - A forward charging attack with his blade. It comes out quickly and has good recovery, but it is rather weak. Side Special: Doryusen - By slamming his blade into the ground he creates a shockwave that acts as a launcher. He can follow it up with other attacks. Up Special: Ryutsuisen - Kenshin leaps into the air and performs a circular slash with his blade. Down Special: Kenki - Kenshin can power up his attacks using Kenki. He can do this up to three times and it will power up his next special move. The more times it is charged, the more powerful the attack. If he is hit whilst performing Kenki, the move will fail. Recovery: God Like Speed - An aerial dash move that moves very quickly. He can quickly dash through the air back to safety with this move. Final Smash: Hiten Mitsurugiryu Ougi - Amakakeru Ryu no Hirameki - The Ultimate technique of the Hiten Mitsurugi Style, Kenshin will sheathe the Sakabatou. A sphere of wind will reach out in all directions within a certain radius. Any enemy within the radius will be drawn in towards Kenshin and hit with a powerful recoil attack from his weapon.
Taunts Oro? - Kenshin stands with swirled eyes confused. Doushita de gozaru ka? - Kenshin will absentmindedly ask what the problem is. Yukuzo - Kenshin glares with the eyes of Hitokiri Battousai and intimidates his opponents.
Costumes Kenshin Himura - Kenshin's clothing in the manga and anime, a Pink Kimono and White Hakama. His eyes are blue. Hitokiri Battousai - A Black Hakama and Dark Blue Kimono. His eyes are yellow.
DISCLAIMER: Character may be broken. Remember it is MADE UP and therefore not REALLY in game.

Does this have to be from manga/anime? The only anime I watch is DragonBall. It doesn't really have to be. You can do a book, movie, or game character if you like (although the game character has to have absolutely no chance of being in the next installment).

OK then I'll give it a go. Character: Death Series: Discworld Symbol: Scythe, crossed over an Hourglass Weight: Medium Death is one of the main characters in Terry Pratchett's Disworld series. As the anthropomorphic personification of death, he has been shaped by human imagination over the millennia. He is a tall Skeleton, as that is what people associate with death. He has a scythe because agricultural people have very strange imaginations. He is not invisible, most people just refuse to acknowlege him for who he is, unless he insist. Only wizards, witches, children and cats can see him. Death has become fascinated with humanity, and is very fond of cats. MovesStandard Special: Death of Rats - Death summons the Death of Rats (a skeletal rodent) to rush forward and attack enemies, gnawing at them, for around 10 seconds until returned to Death's cloak, or shaken off. Each bite does small amounts of damage (2%). Side Special: Scythe Rush - Death rushes forward swinging his scythe (a la Pit's Side Special). This does multiple hits, each causing moderate damage (8%). Up Special: Binky - Death summons his white horse, Binky, who is very much alive. On the ground, Binky appears, Death mounts him and he runs, before throwing Death off and jumping off the stage. Running into ememies causes 10% damage, hitting them with the jump causes 15%. Down Special: Inperceivability - The other fighters do not see Death, as they refuse to believe that he exists, and he fades into the background. Most attacks do no damage to him, and he does not flinch. Allows him to set up attacks, but also makes him move slower. Causes no damage. Recovery: Binky - Binky also appears to help Death recover. In the air, he appears below Death and runs upward (as Binky does not fly, he merely creates his own ground level), before throwing Death off and jumping away. The jump still causes 15% if it hits. Final Smash: Azrael - Death rejoins with his master Azreal, the Death of Universes. Azrael fills the background and projects his clock onto the same level as the stage. This clock has many hands, as it tells time what it is. The biggest hand (for the universe) only goes around once. These hands cause damage, the thinner ones are faster and do less damage, the bigger ones slower and do more damage. Hitting the universe hand is an instant KO. TauntsLifetimers - Death pulls out three lifetimers (hourglasses showing how much life is left) from his robe and inspects them. On close inspection, the are detailed to match his current three opponants. Sword - Death pulls out his sword (the blade so thin it can't be seen) and poses with it. The sword is used as opposed to the scythe to collect the souls of royalty. ('IT'S THE RULES') Dem Bones - Death's skeleton falls to pieces and rolls away, before being pulled back together (think Dry Bones in New Super Mario Bros.). CostumesStandard - Black robe, not much else to say really. Party Hat - Standard + Party hat. Death was once summoned by the wizards, wearing a party hat, to answer them he said 'I WAS AT A PARTY' Alternate colours - Standard in different colours (Blue, White, Red, Green, etc.). For more info on Death: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Death_%28Discworld%29and Azrael: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Discworld_gods#AzraelDeath is my favourite Discworld character, and would definatesly be my character of choice. Thank you, and Goodnight!

After my unsuccessful attempt to revive the Super Smash Brawl thread, let's see if I can revive this one. I already posted this accidentally in the SSBB thread, and I'll post it here too.
(Note: I don't play Halo, but I know enough about it to fit the characters into Brawl)
One character (perhaps two) that would have made the game better and more popular would be Master Chief from Halo and maybe the Arbiter.
Characters: Master Chief and the Arbiter
Series: Halo
Symbol: Halo logo
Weight: Medium
Moves...
...plasma rifle- damaging weapon with no knockback. Will overheat when used too much. - neutral B
...energy sword - side B
...gravity hammer- does medium damage and VERY high knockback - down B
...plasma grenade- sticks to opponents before detonating- medium damage and small knockback - up B
Final Smash - Orbital Mac Round bombardment - sends giant MAC rounds to the field to cause massive explosions.
Master Chief, unlike other characters, would have the ability to triple jump because he is genetically engineered to be capable of such feats. His third jump would be 30% higher than his normal jumps. However, the disadvantage would be that Master Chief does not have a recovery move.
The Arbiter's moveset would be similar.
Taunts:
Cortana hologram - displays image of the AI, Cortana. Halo main theme - activates the Halo main theme for a duration. Fiddling with rifle - acts as if the enemy isn't important, and pretends to fix rifle.
The Arbiter will roar instead of activating Cortana's hologram.
Costumes:
The different armor styles for Master Chief and the Arbiter.

Trying to bring thisw back! Yay for purpousful bumping! Character: Valor Form Sora Series: Kingdom Hearts Symbol: Goofy's Knight Shield Weight: Slightly above average Appearance compared to Sora: Valor Sora, unlike Sora, has red clothes, and two Keyblades. When the match starts, Sora appears, is encased in a Ball of Light, and he breaks out of it sending shard everywhere, and is now Valor form, with the Two Keyblades. Moves: Standard Special: Sora spins twice with Keyblades out streatched doing about 8% per hit. SLight disorientation for Sora afterwards. Side Special: Sora charges for a second or two, then bursts off two the side, doing roughly 10% damage. Is stopped if takes damage. Can hit several times. Down Special: Sora twils the Keyblade on either side of him for a few seconds, which reflects projectiles and does damage (3% per hit). SLight disorientation at end. Recovery: Sora swipes his Keyblades as if skiiing, and shoots up slightly an also somewhat to the side in the direction he was facing. Final Smash: Sora powers up for roughly 45 seconds. During the time he is charged up, his attacks don't cause him to be disorientated or need charging. Taunts: 1) Twirls Keyblades, sticks in grouns, and pulls up a bit of the stage. 2) Points Keyblades forward, spins them in his hand (not like a fan, like a drill) and moves to stab at you.. 3) Feigns throwing a Keyblade at you.

Character: Ichigo Kurosaki Series: Bleach Symbol: Weight: Average Ichigo Kurosaki, substitute Soul Reaper and the main protagonist in the anime/manga series Bleach. He lives in Karakura Town with his father and younger twin sisters, Karin and Yuzu. He recieves the power of the Soul Reapers from a girl named Rukia Kuchiki and takes on the duty to protect spirits and the living from tormented souls known as Hollows. Moves: Standard Special: Getsuga Tensho, focusing his spiritual energy into his Zanpakuto, Zangetsu, he can fire powerful blasts of energy from the tip of the blade. This can be held and charged. Side Special: Shunpo Slash, moving at blinding speed Ichigo can stike an enemy with a strong slash attack. It comes out very fast but can have slow recovery if it misses. Down Special: Ground Cutter, boulders are scattered on either side of Ichigo, they have limited range but can nullify projectiles. Recovery: Shunpo Dash, a high speed dash move that allows Ichigo to move swiftly in predetermined directions. Can be done twice, but does no damage. Final Smash: Bankai- Tensa Zangetsu, Ichigo activates his Bankai and will change appearance. He can move even faster, cannot be harmed and can deal out Black Getsuga Tenshos whilst in this form. It runs out after 30 seconds. Taunts: 1) 'Come on! Come on!' Ichigo signals his opponents to approach him, holding Zangetsu casually. 2) 'That all you got?' Character: Sousuke Aizen Series: Bleach Symbol: Weight: Average Sousuke Aizen is the former Captain of Squad 5 of the 13 Court Guard Squads. He is also the primary antagonist in the anime/manga, Bleach. He is a rather cold and calculating man, who plans his acts meticulously. He will manipulate whoever and whatever he has to to get what he wants. He has no regards for anyone but himself and will kill to further his ambitions. Despite his cruel and uncaring manner he speaks very politely to all he converses with. Moves: Standard Special: Pale Fire Crash, Aizen will summon a fireball from his hand. He can charge this and make it more powerful. Side Special: Pale Lightning, Aizen fires three arcs of lightning, it has wide range. Down Special: Six Bars of Light, this move can paralyse any that come near it. It has slow recovery time, but has the bonus of trapping an enemy briefly enough for a powerful smash. Aizen will release his Shikai, Kyouka Suigetsu upon the field. Using the powers of illusion, Aizen's Shikai will invert all controls and distort the stage, sometimes changing it completely. Aizen himself is unaffected by Kyouka Suigetsu's ability. Taunts: 1) 'You fight well, but it is not enough.' Aizen folds his arms across his front. 2) 'How unusual...' Aizen removes his glasses briefly to show his true self before putting them back on again. 3) 'From now on, I will stand in heaven.' Aizen will look serious and swing Kyouka Suigetsu.

Yeah, I know, I am double posting, but this is sperate from my previous posts. Roxas: Symbol: Nobody Emblem Moveset is mostly the same as Valor Sora. However, there are a few diferences: Recovery: Reversal - Roxas does a flip upwards in the air, becuase it is somewhat small, it can happen three times. Taunts: 1 - Roxas shouts to the sky: "Hayner, Pence, Ollett!" 2 - Roxas taunts "Get ready to be beat by Nobody!" 3 - Roxas' Keyblade are surrounded in digital energy and turn back into Struggle Weapons. Final Smash: Flaming Dance of the Nobodies - Roxas calls out for Axel. When he appears, they combine their powers to form two new Keyblades. All of ROxas attacks are now more owerful, and shoot Fire. Lasts for 1 minute or until Roxas dies (after 15 seconds)

I obviously love the Sora and Roxas ideas, TDF. ;D
Two suggestions, however: (1) what if the symbol were the crown that appears throughout the games (e.g. his necklace, on his Keyblade, a keychain for Oblivion, and for the game cases)? Seems to be more fitting for me, that is.
(2) what if Sora's Drive Forms were his Final Smashes, only the kind that appear would be random, kind of like when Final Form appears? Granted, however, I like the Trinity Limit idea. It would certainly seem to be one of those Final Smashes that would rape every person on the screen with the single push of a button. XD
The taunts are also great. Twirling the Keyblade around for one of them is freaking awesome, and I can certainly see myself pressing the Up Directional Button after punishing a Marth or Meta Knight into oblivion. ^_^
And I never did think of using Reversal as a recovery move. I was quite stumped on the subject of recovery for KH characters.

I know my next was supposed to be Final Form, but I found this picture that was just perfect for Anti-Form Character: Sora, Anti-Form Series:Kingdom Hearts Symbol:The Heartless Emblem Weight: Somewhat Light Character Description: Anti-Form Sora, unlike his ither costumes, has no Keyblade, and instead uses the powers of darkness to fight. When the match starts, Sora is swalowed in an orb of darkness that fades almost instantly, leaving Anti-Sora. He then growls. Anti-Sora is incredibly fast, but his attacks do little damage. Moves Standard Special: Dark Charge - Anti-Sora (Now refered to as A-S) surges with dark energy quickly, with an aura going from the ground to his head. It disapears fairly quickly. No damage, but can reflect some projectiles, and makes his next move more powerful. Also slightly decreases defence until charge is used and decreases speed. Only works on ground. When charged, will absorb any projectile. If a projectile is absorbed, Charge will be restored, if not, it will be used up. OR Dark Burst(See Final Smash) - A-S fires an Kamehameha-esque ray of dark energy which pierces through enemies and terrain. Will do 5% damage and will hit 2-3 times. Cannot be charged. Side Special: Dark Flurry - A-S, with his extreme speed, charge forward in the direction told to. If he hits an enemy, he throws a flurry of punches (between 20-30) They do 1% damage each, and trap slower opponents. When charged, stuns and punches are thrown faster. Leaves A-S slightly vulnerable after attack. Up Special: Dark Wheel - A-S jumps slightly (only an inch or two) and blackflips rapidly, bluring, while staying in place. Roughly 7% per hit, and can hit up to 5 times. that is unlikely however, because of large knockback. When charged, damage increases to 9% and increases knockback. Down Special: Dark Smash - Parhaps the slowest of A-S' attacks with a bit of lag. A-S rears back and smashes the ground, with a small range. however, dark energy is also releasee along the ground on either side. The smash has low knockback, and stuns, allowing for a great combo with Dark Wheel. The smash does roughly 14%, and each energy can hit twice, and does 2.5% per hit. (Rounds down most time, 10% chance to round up) When charged, energy damage double (To solid 5) and the smash gains average knockback (allowing a combo with Dark Flurry) Recovery: Dark Tornado - A-S spins extremely quickly, shooting up and over, forming a dark tornado. This can damage, and can hit up to 50 times. Does 2% for every 2 hits, and has no stopping power. When charged, gains little stopping power and increased speed incredibly. Both charged and uncharged, it is very fast, and is easy to overshoot. Final Smash: Anti Clone - A-S, with his power of darkness, is permenatly charged for about a minute. When charged, his standard special becomes Dark Burst. Taunts Taunt 1 - A-S Roars Taunt 2 - A-S releases a non-damaging flurry of dark rays. Seek enemies, but DO NOT HURT. Taunt 3 - A-S morphs into a Shadow, then a Neo Shadow, before turning back to A-S.
