Almost impossible to become a mod there. It's already a well developed site with a ton of members.

Not surprised. Oh well. By the way Xatol we are looking for a new Mod on what used to be ASU2.0. Your name has come up so expect to hear from either me or Sarge should you become the new mod

^ havn't got anything yet, other than that you gus seem to need a few more mods.
Ya only got 5, and it's a bit larger than this place.
Now what were we talking about, oh yeah.
For the back up site, in case this place goes KA- BOOM, I've done some scouting, and one good host is phpbb. V bulleten is said to be better, but it's not free; it's the same place that hosts BMGF, and Serebii. Another host I've found is freeforums.org.
If this site dose go to the dogs, then the plan so far is to rebuild, and well notify the new area to all existing users, through ff.net bioses, sig banners in some forums, and PM's.

I think that, seeing as most of the members make appearances in Fanfiction.net, would be waiting there in the case that this forum crashes. We could communicate that way until we find a suitable, temporary forum to refuge in.

I know this is offtopic, but I want to clear up the confusion about links on BMGf.
*Posting a link to another website in your signature is perfectly fine. No one will ever get infraction points for having a link to another website/forum in there signature, with the possible exception of the link leading to a spam site, or a site that is pornopgraphic in nature.
*Posting a link to another website in a topic is either fine, or will get you infraction points. The difference is if the topic/post advertises the website/forum or not. For example, if you were to link to, say, a Deviantart account to show everyone a picture, or a news story in the "The Real World" forum, that would be fine. You're not advertising, you're encouraging discussion. On the other hand, if you are trying to attract members to a different forum, or start a topic for a fanfiction that links offsite with no intention of updating on BMGf, that would be considered worth an infraction point.
