Here is a place where you can ask one of our fanfiction authors some questions. Now of course, these questions are related to their stories; their opinions, their inspirations, what they wanted to do when they started, dropped plotlines, etc.
Pretty much any question is fair game, although we do insist that you don't ask about future plot details in an ongoing fanfiction.
If you would like to be a part of this, please say so below. We'll only take questions for people who have agreed to take part, although you don't need to register to ask a question.
So that you don't have to check this thread every day, I will contact members through private messaging when there is a new question for them.

Can I join? I've left so many plotlholes in War of Legends that anyone curious about them deserves an answer.

I'm totally in. And now a question to Matkin22: When are you going to post the final part of your PikaShipping trilogy, and is it going to fill in all the plot-holes, or are you leaving a lot open?

Now a question to Matkin22: When are you going to post the final part of your PikaShipping trilogy, and is it going to fill in all the plot-holes, or are you leaving a lot open? I getting my final thoughts together before I start writing it, hopefully sometime next week. Raikou's Test and Emotions were both really well received (even by people who dislike Pikashipping), but I want the conclusion to completely eclipse what happened in those two. It's gonna be tough to fit it all into a one-shot ;-) I'll be filling in some (but not all) of the plot-holes as I write it; the reason for that is because I like people to use their imaginations a little when they are reading, and come up with their own conclusions for why something has happened. As was the case in Raikou's Test and Emotions, the ending will (probably) be left open-ended.

A question for dryuu01:
Many of your stories are very long and in-depth; if I recall, the original Trials was over 90 chapters. What are your inspirations for creating such long stories, and how do you manage to keep the plot so contained?

, I never thought you'd be interested in my fics, thinking you have different taste in stories. Anyway, on topic, I never really gave it much thought on the depth of my story. One day 3 years ago, I was fighting the Hoenn Elite Four, and BAM! I thought, that if the anime would soon(someday) follow the plot of the games, then I thought that an actual Elite Four would get involved. Then I got back into fanfiction(as mentioned before I used to be a fanfic writer with mentor and all), but it took a while for Pokemon to be rekindled in me, plus finding ff.net. When it did happen, there you go, ToE4 is born. As for the length of the story, well, I think I got carried away with that one. When writing the plot, I never wanted to include Mask in the final draft. There wasn't even supposed to be an actual villain in the first place. Then my influence in other franchises(Digimon[all seasons], Yu-gi-Oh[and GX], Breath of Fire[all installments], Megaman[all meta-series{at the time}, but mostly X/Zero], to name a few) took over, and see where it got me? For inspiration, look at the long list of fanfare I've been into. I have to confess, some of the plotpoints in my series are unoriginal, and I thought that someone may have figured it out by now. Man, I never was good at writing essays in exams, and I don't think I've done well here either. If I missed some of the answers you were seeking, please just tell me and I'll try to complete it.

No, I think you answered pretty much everything I was wondering about. To be completely honest, I haven't read much of your fics, although I really want to. Part of the reason is because of how long most of them are; I just haven't had time to read anything! Another reason is because when I skimmed through the beginning of Trials 2, I noticed a couple of potential similarities in the plot with Final Challenge, so I forced myself to stop reading so that I wouldn't begin integrating any of your ideas into my story by accident. But I can assure you, I really want to read your stories when I can find the time!

Well, I did actually forget something. The length of ToE4 may be contributed to the fact that I made it a world-wide(or, at least, through the four main "present" regions) event. It's kind of like the world championships frequent in toy-trend(for lack of a better term, never knew what genre they belonged to) anime that I had a liking to, like Beyblade, Crush Gear, Medabots, etc.; therefore it's another influence from "outside" franchises.
EDIT: No offense, but I also was never able to find time to read other long fics like yours, due to the fact that I couldn't find the time, even with the scarce "Story Breaks" in between my fics. Because of this I was only able to review some(not all) one- to two-shots, e.g. LuciferIX's stories.

Here's a question for just about all of the authours to be able to answer (if they want)
What one scene/chapter do you feel that you have done your best in?
