Well it will be natural that we will be thinking more into it seeing as how this is what we have been waiting for since the end of Battle Frontier. Just going by that will almost automatically will make it not what what we expected. Its only natural as fans.
And while I was hoping for the return of May to the group I knew that it was unrealistic. But as a recurring character she will be just as important. Like James said, with May able to move aound more, even if she does return to Johto, we will have a far better chance of seeing her more often than Misty. If that does happen and Drew is never with her or really even mentioned then it starts to kill Contestshipping at the same time.
So even if there isn't too many direct Advanceshipping hints it can hurt some of the opposing shippings. And even if we hope for the best, less than that can even be acceptable.

Exactly if Drew is barely mentioned or not even mentioned, consider contestshipping a thing of the past.

Well James, I havn't seen that battle, that's what having your t.v. cut off dose to some1. Other than that I don't belive that May would seriously be travelling in Sinnoh. If someone has the choice to go somewhere with their freinds, or on their own, most would chose freinds. It is unlike Mays character to not join the main cast if she is in Sinnoh, even when Ash is only two feet away. Unlike Johto where many things were uncertain(where Ash was going, contests in Sinnoh, Mays battling style) and no, the character list shows that Drew is NOT in the Eps. So I don't suppose that the're travelling together. Eh? Now I wonder what happened to that belife tht May was apparently travelling with Drew?

Well James, I havn't seen that battle, that's what having your t.v. cut off dose to some1. Yeah that's gotta suck. I don't watch TV anymore (except Gordon Ramsay, God I love his show). All Pokemon episodes I catch on youtube. If you want to see that battle, I'll gladly send you a link to it. It's very, very good. Unlike Johto where many things were uncertain(where Ash was going, contests in Sinnoh, Mays battling style) You never know, May might enjoy her newfound independence and prefer to do her own thing. Maybe. I guess I am just hopeful she will recur in the series (there's a better chance of her doing it than Misty since Misty has to stay in Cerulean to be a Gym leader). May is a coordinator so she will always be on the move. Like Paul, Nando, Zoey and Kenny, she could become a rival character and appear every now and then. You know who to ask when this episode airs...Contestshippers!

I've suggested on another forum that, if she does travel around Sinnoh, May might decide to travel seperately from the group so that she and Dawn aren't always competing for the same ribbons. That would give them both the chance to enter the Grand Festival without needing to have a massive 15-16 contests through the region (including the ones we've already seen) to allow both May and Dawn five ribbons, as well as the occassional victory by Nando, Zoey, Kenny, and/or Drew and Harley if they decide to travel around Sinnoh too.
It's also possible that May could take the place of the D/P Game's rival (who hasn't been seen once so far) when the characters meet Professor Rowan in the Library to try and stop Team Galactic from capturing Dialga and Palkia.

That's an interesting possibility. If May does recur in this series, I don't think they should add any of the other Hoenn coordinators, it'd be a case of too many cooks in my opinion.

They have at least 4 that will be entering the Grand Festival already. If they add too many then it would take the festival too long to complete, not to mention that it would eat into the Sinnoh League as well. They really can't add too many more notable coordinators before they fill it up so I would say that James would be correct.

I think there's plenty already, but I want May to be a recurring rival at the very least (more than Zoey and Kenny!). Ideally I want her to travel with the group again, but I know that's not going to happen in this region at least. Nando is also a recurring character but he is not only Dawn's rival but Ash's as well since he is competing for both ribbons and badges.
And another cool thing about Contests in Sinnoh are people dress up for them! Will May dress up as well?

Actually, she could just wear her regular clothes, since they probably won't be common to see in Sinnouh.
