Right now, at this moment. Theo only thing that'll get me worried is if Drew returns.
Hopes fangirl/boy rumours arn't true (HOPES)

What rumors?
EDIT: Ahh, never mind I saw what it was. Trust me, it's a sack of s***.
SatoxHaru is very popular in Japan, so I wouldn't go by what a bunch of american fangirls say.
I cannot believe the sheer arrogance of some of these girls. Though, take comfort in the fact Drew has barely been mentioned and that Advanceshipping has had some focus. Compared to contestshipping which has had jacks*** since May's return.

Again, it seems like Seribii is getting ready to start a war.

Except we are completely outnumbered, as always. Even when we try to be the middle ground they are always trying to shoot us down. But one thing for the Luvdisc scene, they are trying to pass it off just like some random occurrence in the ocean and that any Pokemon could have been swimming by. What they are failing to realize is that the Pokemon were animated into there on purpose. Its not like some artist accidentally drew them onto paper and said "oh well, guess they're staying like that." Even if they weren't planning for it to be a hint the context is still there.
And the thing about the ribbon only being a hint if you think that Ash and May are together? Isn't that basically the way for virtually every hint for every shipping? The more die-hard shipping fans will only recognize their own shipping hints and close themselves off to pretty much all others, which is almost always the case with Poke and Contestshippers. Not to mention that we've discussed the blushing and roses many times before here.
But I will say one thing, even if I'm slightly disgusted by it, Contestshipping has a far better chance of becoming reality than Pokeshipping. For many reasons that we have again discussed here, the probability of Pokeshipping becoming canon is dropping by the day. Misty is locked up in her gym and is getting more contact with other people than Ash and vise versa to a much greater degree. Heck, even Pearlshipping has a better chance right now than Poke. The old Pokeshippers are just too dense to realize that its dead.
And to end with one question, why would the rumor of Drew's return be in the Ikarishipping thread?

No clue whatsoever, but hopefully, I made enough logic to make sense on Seribii.
EDIT: God d--- it!! Some people are just super-dense on Seribii, I swear.

And to end with one question, why would the rumor of Drew's return be in the Ikarishipping thread? I can't be for sure, but its probably because, as with Contestshipping, a lot of Ikarishippers are also Pokeshippers. Once again, anything to keep any girl who is not Misty away from Ash.

They are getting desperate, those darned PokeShippers. And this is because they didn't want Misty to leave. If those motherf---ers would just stop being so d---ed naive, then a majority of these shipping wars might as well be avoided.

It is quite foolish that they go for such crack pairings to keep Ash and Misty 'together'. Gosh, Misty hasn't been in the main cast for nearly 5 years! 5 years is a long time to have no hints! I will definitely have to add my two cents to that discussion. I just know some rabid contestshipper will try to s*** on anything said. But if it is anything like what happened on BMGF, I am not concerned in the slightest.

Its getting worse over there. The CS side is once again declaring that their's is cannon and that we have absolutely no hints whatsoever. Worse yet they are claiming that hints that are virtually parallel to some that we have are proof while ours say nothing.
There is one simple fact that seems to pass by them; There is no cannon shipping in Pokemon as of yet! The closest thing that can be called canon is Misty's one-sided crush on Ash back in the Orange Islands and some of Johto. Beyond that there are only hints of a romance between characters. Canon means that the characters are officially engaged in a relationship in the actual show/manga/etc. And to counter that they aren't actually a couple I'll use some of their own facts that they stated. They agree that Ash and May have a strong friendship. Now tell me, how many young teenage girls would be able to withhold the information of their first boyfriend from their best friends? I might be a little stereotypical with this but it makes sense.
I feel real sorry for Hunter Rule. He's not even saying that Ash and May are a couple, just trying to say that neither is canon, and the CS users are cutting him to shreds.

I like how I got indirectly mod-threatened on SPPf.
Me:
Mod quoting me:
Me responding:
Moral of the story: Don't upset 14 year old mods or else they'll get "PO'd" at you.
Now, to topic.
I've never seen a single AG episode, but from the screenshots I see and the things I read/hear (especially the Bulbapedia page), Contestshipping does seem to have canon in that there was interest between May and Drew.
Now the question is, did that interest last at all?
After all, it's the big picture that matters the most. So what if Drew and May had a little silent fling in the AG series? There was no true romantic interaction between them or such. The ending is what matters the most, and in my personal opinion, I don't see Pokemon pulling the same ending off as Digimon did.

They are backed into a corner since there have been some hints floating our way. They can refute it all they like, but they are suggestive nonetheless. Ash and May are friends according to them. Fine, plenty of people have been friends before they become lovers. It's what makes a lot of great love stories. Ash and May is not as unlikely as they think it is. I wouldn't bother with these silly little girls. Like someone on a board once said, 'Arguing on the internet is like running a race in the special Olympics. Even if you win, you're still retarded.' It's not very PC, but it's very true. Let them squawk all they want, anime is what matters. We got our hint, they got nothing. Enjoy it.

Roses die, Ribbons are forever. Pikamaster touched on that one in the two-shot "Ribbon." Definitely a good moment.

I say that we shouldn't let things like this take to much of our concentration. At the end of the day we're all shippers. I would just appreciate it if veteran shippers wouldn't really become so big headed as to see themselves as superior. The only superior ones are Normanx Caroline shippers, They can definately call dibs of the Cannon title.
as Somebody said previously. 'If you call your ship cannon when it's not, the n00bs may be impressed, but to everybody who knows what you're talking about, you're a retard.'

I'm also willing to bet that since (as I've noted before) most Contestshippers are Pokeshippers, they're not only upset about no Drew/May hints, but they're most likely even more upset that we got our actual shippy moment with the ribbon, while they got absolutely nothing like it when Misty returned back in AG.
