Yes, what was the title of that Ribbon episode to support our claim? 'Mean with envy'? Sure suits those guys right about now.

They are backed into a corner since there have been some hints floating our way. They can refute it all they like, but they are suggestive nonetheless. Ash and May are friends according to them. Fine, plenty of people have been friends before they become lovers. It's what makes a lot of great love stories. Ash and May is not as unlikely as they think it is. I wouldn't bother with these silly little girls. Like someone on a board once said, 'Arguing on the internet is like running a race in the special Olympics. Even if you win, you're still retarded.' It's not very PC, but it's very true. Let them squawk all they want, anime is what matters. We got our hint, they got nothing. Enjoy it. Roses die, Ribbons are forever. I'm also willing to bet that since (as I've noted before) most Contestshippers are Pokeshippers, they're not only upset about no Drew/May hints, but they're most likely even more upset that we got our actual shippy moment with the ribbon, while they got absolutely nothing like it when Misty returned back in AG. Yes, the ribbon is good enough of a clue that some people who once thought Advanceshipping was impossible are beginning to come back. It must be good luck, so everybody, knock on wood. *Knocks on wood*

That was a direct quote from the AS vs. CS board. And she says we have thick heads.
I like the last part, Drew and Ash both protect May in the same exact way except that theirs is the real one and ours means nothing.
They would be the ones who have the think heads. We at least acknowledge that there are hints for CS out there, even if most of them aren't really all that true, while they say that there isn't a single AS hint. That thread is going nowhere with neither side going to give an inch. Plus with the fact that we just got a hint after this long of a time span with only the passing reference of Drew is just making them jealous. Not to mention that with a lot of the mods either Poke or Contestshippers we are already at a disadvantage.
With the ribbon's appearance in the last episode our fandom is back in a growth spurt while their's is in decline.

Now I've read some of the posts that the mods have made, and I have seen them trying to get the contestshipping thread back on track when it wandered out of topic, but the mods are more angry with us. A strange thing to note is that though the moderators in the Serebii forum are mainly contestshippers and pokeshippers, the articles about Ash and May's bulbasaurs, in the site, state that there are mutual, romantic feelings between them. The significance of it is that it supports Vineshipping, and all of you know the rest. So, the people who wrote the articles in the site are not entirely biased. They would be the ones who have the [glow=yellow,2,300] think[/glow] heads. We at least acknowledge that there are hints for CS out there, even if most of them aren't really all that true, while they say that there isn't a single AS hint. Anyway, the mods might not be entirely biased, but they're still biased enough to be annoying. They basically take our arguements, call them unfounded, and then make the same exact arguement that we just did, except they stamp a rose on it and call it canon.

And then throw a hissy fit at me for trying to create peace, then turning the issue onto me, saying I offer no evidence, and saying I pissed said mod off.
I love how I am interpreted.

Who are they to say that friends never fall in love?
I know a ton of couples who started out as F-R-I-E-N-D-S and are now together. Just because Ash and May are friends, doesn't mean nothing can happen. We have gotten enough suggestive scenes and dialog to support the possibility.

I'm gonna try to stop myself debating.
You guys could add on your own views if you want to. It will surely help out.
But I have better things to do with my life than fight a fruitless battle.
I've only got a third of GS done and a load of one- shots to write down.
and GCSE's coming up.
Besides the more I, or they argue it's not really gonna change the writers minds. Apart from maybe make either side look slightly idiotic, which there has been nothing but on that thread.
Why do you think the debate thread was reopened? a last ditch attempt.

Well I don't have an account over there and I've never been a very good debater. But I will say that we are putting up a good fight, even if a simple fact can't get crammed through their thick heads. The CSers are starting to ramble and contradict their own statements, one of which I posted yesterday.
But even if they do that, they'll just try to find another escape route. The simple fact is that they are in denial. We are back in the the race and they have been pushed back. Even if they say that Drew and May had feelings for each other in AG, feelings can change over time so anything said now has a far greater hold than things seasons ago.

I have posted in the debate thread at serebii. I will edit this post when I'm allowed at serebii.

^ Your point will still be ripped to shreds because of the tone of your argument.
I think you should also make mention that simply because Ash and May are friends does not mean nothing could ever happen between them. There are hundreds of examples of characters from TV shows, movies and anime that were 'just friends' who became much more. Be very careful how you use your last quote it can easily be construed as an attack or a slap in the face. Last thing you want is contestshippers on your a$$.

Best thing is to not falme the ship. So the ribbon comment would have gotten you an infraction there mate. Edit it if you can.

I didn't flame them, and I did not want to. What I did was post accordingly to what they posted earlier. Me, LordVurtax, and Cascade88 are there fighting that horde of Contestshippers, and we need help.

-sneaks on computer- Dude, Ima sneaking on but I gotta tell yall something I found about ze roses!8O I was looking on wikipedia and it said: Red roses: Love, used to say "I love you", but could also mean courage and respect. Not believing wikipedia I searched a few more websites ( Language of Roses and Teleflora.com) And it said the same thing.O.o I've been looking at the AS vs CS debate on serebii and I think you might need this argument, and remember, Drew does RESPECT her as a coordinator. Gotta go now, its slowing up the computer.>.>

Excellent find NN, I think that they could use that little fact very well over on the debate boards.
And now that you mention it I should have realized that it meant courage as well. On the anime Trigun, Vash wears red because Rem told him about the symbolic meaning of red flowers. And it isn't because of love thats the reason that he wears the large red coat.
Glad to see you back on too, even if it is just for a quick second.
