^ But then, what does Sceptile's blade have to do with his masculinity?

^Well usually when people think of a blade they think of a sword, then a knight/samurai who is wielding the sword, then what gender is usually associated with a knight/samurai? A male.=P So it does kinda make sense.=/

When did I say the blade signals masculinity. I said Blade (Sceptile) and Seed (Venasaur, showing feminity.) I never said Sceptiles blade showed his gender. Speaking of that, do we know he's male?

The closest hint we have at his gender is that Sceptile was attracted to a couple female Pokemon.
And I think that Praetor didn't notice that the only reference toward gender was the seed. The blade was simply Sceptile's signature attack.

Fiddler - I figured that since you made a reference to Venusaur's feminity, you would also make a reference to Sceptile's masculinity.

Sceptile is confirmed to be male Dark Fiddler. It is shown in the episode where it falls in love with a female Meganium and competes for its affection against a male Tropius.

And ash's Bulbasaur is also male. It would me sorta wierd if Ash's bulbasaur (i'm probably taking this out of context from vineshipping) was attached to another male one. That would probably be junk "trash" ship then.

^Oh sexy pokemon yaoi! But I dunno if the ship would be trashed: -random male grass type walks by- Bulba: I like men now! Straight Shipping Fans: NOOOO! We lost another one! Yaoi/Yuri Shippers: YES! Come to the dark side, fellow pokemon! ;D Ash: Hey, why is bulbasaur humping that grass type pokemon? Me and my sick mind. ;D

In that case, May's Venusaur may not be very happy about that.

Speaking of which, what'll happen to VineShipping now that May's evolved?
