xD I honestly think it's like a Pokemon type of jail cell.

No wonder Pikachu doesn't like pokeballs.

*Raises hand* Oh wait I've never been in a poke ball. What whoever said that they link to all other poke balls. Maybe that's why Pikachu doesn't want to go there.. Maybe they have lunatics running around... Or worse..... DICTIONARYS! Tim if your reading this.. IM A GUY! that is all.

A bunch of mirrors and a laser thingy that can transform Pokemon into a nice red light. Or a white light if it comes out. Maybe they were invented by somone who put disco ball mirrors inside the ball instead of outside.

It Connects to a place with everyother pokeball and so all the pokemon chill out and stuff but the place is divided The top half is colored Red and the bottom half of the world is White i saw that When Pokemon was on WB along time ago

^ Nice description, a good amount of imagery.
Personally when I picture that one I get the image that Robot Chicken created even if it was just making fun of Pokemon (it was still funny). But with the Pokemon as nothing more than energy it's just probably the mirrors to keep anything from really leaking out.

You know, unless I'm crazy, I believe that at the very end of the episode where Misty catches Psyduck, like at the very near end where it says 'to be continued', they actually show Psyduck cramped up inside a Pokeball. So I guess they just minimize their size and are just in there. I swear I know I saw it at the end of that ep....

I just checked and they do zoom in on the Pokeball at the end of the episode. But at the same time they don't actually show the reflectors that we know are in there so it's not completely decisive. Good memory on that one though.

^ That's a very old episode; it might not be canon anymore.

What are you talking about? The episode itself being canon or the way that Pokemon are kept inside the balls being canon? Because if it isn't the latter, I have to say, I'm pretty sure that every epsiode, regardless of how old it is, is canon.

Technically that is the definition of canon. If it is shown in the show that would be canon until the show proves it wrong.
ex. Pikachu being able to affect Onix with an electric attack (sad but true)

Don't forget sometimes shows contradict themselves or retcon their own canon.

The seemingly disregarded one-year anniversary for Ash and Pikachu during that one movie short comes to mind... >.>
