Well, I promised to post a pic of myself... Here it is... It's some months ago, when I was the referee at a football match. (Yeah, it's my hobby)

Praetor & Leon: That's actually a good idea. Just in case something bad happens. And when nothings happening we can also go to that website just to spread our Advanceshipping disease.XD It should be back-up. It's better to stick around toghter on one forum instead of scattered around many different forums.

Ah, to be over 18 in Britain.... ;D Here in Holland, you may drink when 16. But in reality, a lot of kids have had their first beer at the age of 14... Oh, and yes I will post a picture here soon.

Thanks for the link Poketrance. Altough it makes me wonder how different things are in Holland. The only comparison we have here is the BNP who are generally racist through and through creating riots and such. People you wouldn't want to support. A/n the conversation wasn't about 'only' Multiculturism as we have covered several other topics, another reason why I liked this 'debate' but all in all we generally covered things from a European view point. Now we need a closing statement that sounds right for the argument. a/n Poketrance Would this be an adiquate time in which the EU argument should be made? Sorry for the late reply, but I wasn't able to spend much time on forums lately. === BNP = British Nationalist Party or something? Seem to be extreme-nationalists then. Well, I can assure you, here in Holland is nationalism considered extremely dangerous, so basically no political party supports nationalist feelings or something. It is true that here in Holland we too have some hardcore nationalists, but these groups are very small and have no influence at all. (most of the time, when they are protesting and demonstrating, leftist anti-fascist groups show up to beat them...) The videos you've seen only show that we here in Holland were deeply impressed by the way one man could change the political climate and finally open the discussion about multiculturalism in a, lets call it 'civilised', manner. And yes, it was a very good 'debate', interesting and enlightening. As for the EU argument, I agree with you. Time to make that argument!

This is not some kind of late April fool's joke, right? This sounds great, but how much does it cost to produce one of these engines? If it is cost effective and practical, then we could mass produce it. How does this engine work anyway, and where did you hear about it? ^this. But I want to add something. Why do you think oil-companies act like this? It's because they gain huge benefit from it. The power oil-companies have is much greater than you can ever imagine. Think about it: almost everything we use in these days was in some way produced with oil. We should look for alternative energy resources, like hydrogen or bio-fuel (dunno if I translated these right). Oh, and another thing... As soon as people can't afford the oil anymore, they will look for something else to use. And this is when the oil-companies come 'to the rescue' with all those great inventions you've mentioned... The only one who can invest in other resources and stimulate it, is the government. But it's very likely that your government won't do that. (well, maybe they will... if it's useful for the military)

Wow, I think I can agree with everything you said. Yes, it is clear to me that we have different views on multiculturalism, and that is not something to worry about or something. Instead, it's good to hear and know about other views, so one can learn from it... Well, the general look on this particular subject was for about 30 years the one I explained to you. It were our socialists and liberals who thought that this would be the best for all of us. Ofcourse, I disagree completely. It were these kind of rules that made Dutch people mad... but we weren't allowed to speak about it until mr. Pim Fortuyn entered politics... Maybe you know him. He was the one who said for the first time in our parliament that these rules were ridiculous and only isolated the immigrants from society. And you know what? He was called a racist by our media for it. The politicians (most of them are socialists, or liberals) didn't go that far (unwritten rule), but they demonized him instead. It was a shock for those politicians that he gained that much support... And then he was assasinated. Ridiculed, demonised and hated by the political left, the (leftist) media and parts of our people... I'd like to show you two parts of a documentary of his life: (you won't understand what is said, it's Dutch. But to give you an impression of how much support he had, please view these vids) www.youtube.com/watch?v=vXRPtatQZT0&feature=related (part 6/9 days of the assassination and after) www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zocw5Q6BU9E&feature=related (part 7/9 day of his funeral) He inspired people, he made it possible to talk about these problems... And I'm very grateful for that. It's beneficial for me, since I am half white and half asian. If it weren't for multiculturalism I wouldn't exist. That's good to hear. I didn't want you not to exist, not at all. It's not the point of this discussion though.
