Here, in this thread, is where so called contestshipping clues will be posted and disputed by us.
I felt that we need to know what the contestshippers will bring to bear on us, if the Advanceshippers are ever going to debate (argue) against them.

May blushing when people hint at her and Drew or when Drew gives her a rose. This can be attributed to natural embarrassment or awkwardness from girls. It does not necessarily denote a reciprocation of feelings or her own approval of her being paired with him. Yeah, not much... I was about to go out. Thought I'd point that out to get the ball rolling, feel free to add to it anyone.

I only remember visiting bulbapedia only a few times to see the so called clues the contestshippers post, so I can't remember all of them.

OMG so is HARLEY~! That means May and Harley must be TOGETHER! And Harley gave her cookies! So that proves this ship is canon!

Okay so I just went through the Contestshipping page on Bulbapedia (shudder), and sure enough virtually every hint either contained a rose or Drew's one-sided shipping. But there were a few things that caught my eye.
Part of the reason that they has so many virtually useless hints.
And finally their response to Vineshipping. Not like it will compare in any way though.
This can also be taken another way. Drew was battling to try and steal May's heart away from Ash.
As before I agree that there is one-sided Contestshipping. But Contestshippers forget that people blush for another reason, embarrassment. And that is a major killer for the rest of their hints.
Now if you excuse me, I need to delete part of my history.

Thanks Lucifer, for diving into the abyss of the contestshippers. ;D
What kind of clue is this?
Masquerain has never even been close to Beautifly.

Don't look at me, I just thought that it was too much of a wishful statement. But apparently they think that that is somewhat of a hint.

If these are virtually all the clues the contestshippers had, then maybe we overreacted.
Then again, we must not undermine the contestshippers. They COULD become a serious problem if we are not attentive.

Well a few of them are harder to dispute. Most of them are centered around the Drew in love portion but there were a few for May that would have taken some thought. I didn't really study the page too much so I grabbed some of the desperate parts. You can go back there if you want, I might sometime later, but my screen has been defiled enough for one day.

Well then, anymore volunteers to go to the dreaded contestshipping page on Bulbapedia?

Bulbapedia? I'll do it, and I'll look at what they got as well, although if it involves, "Who, What, When, Why, Wynaut," then good luck trying to debate that. Unfortunately, it's the ContestShipper's flagship, other than the Johto thing, which we can all shoot down by now.

Explain how that makes it a hint for contestshippers.

After reading through the hints it really does seem like contestshipping is primarily Drew motivated. Advanceshipping appears to be more mutual.
