What if Drew is doing the same thing to another girl we don't know about? ;D
He only appears every so often in the show, so what he does when we don't see him is a mystery.

Yes, he's out partying and drinking shots off of girls' bodies. ;D

Lets just hope he is, it would stop the Contestshippers dead in their tracks. With most of their hints based off of Drew, having him go for another girl would ruin the entire shipping.

With a nature and character like Drew, I wouldn't be surprised if he acted like Brock.

Brock is...for lack of a better word...a desperate man. Though he is kind hearted and genuine underneath his girl-crazed actions.
Drew seems like the type to attract women, but I don't think he cares much about them. Unlike Brock, the women come to him in my opinion. To me, Drew appears to be more frivolous when it comes to women.

With a nature and character like Drew, I wouldn't be surprised if he acted like Brock. Drew is pretty 2 dimensional he's only shown up doing one of two things 1) - Ha Ha Ha I'm gonna win this Contest - Ha May I beat you - You're gonna have to work harder if you're gonna be a good co-ordiantor - and take this rose Beautifly 2) - I'm not going to the contest cause I want to RELAX - Harleys doing something, I better tell Ash - I did everything and Ash didn't - and now I... go away note: he says go away, not vanish. Vanish is my line but anywayz baised on the few occasions that he is witnessed, he dosn't really do anything that reviels much about his character. So the CraZy stuff we sometimes make him do in our fanfics can be rationalised at times. Just like how Contestshippers see him as honerable, e.c.t. (I don't really know, but just guessing) For all we know he could be a serial killer.

Thats taking it too the extreme XAOTL, but then again we have made him into a rapist, an abusive husband, chew toy for many different schemes, the list can go on. So I guess serial killer isn't out of the picture.
I wonder if they do that same for Ash? Probably not to the point what we can do to Drew.

Praetor, if you have watched the epsiode I'm talking about, a heck of a lot happens. All there is to the episode is when May rescues Drew, but that doesn't mean she likes him. She was doing for the sake of saving a person's life. There is, however, more meaning to when Ash saves May's life in the Sea Temple. May's eyes quiver and her voice shows deep concern for Ash. She is shown praying for Ash's safety; which Ash receives. Spurred by the prayer, Ash barely escapes from drowning, then he saves the temple. That has more meaning than May saving Drew. It is true that Drew is May's rival, but I doubt that she would want him to die. Rivals give more excitement and competition for her coordinating career. It would be boring without any competition. It is the same thing between Ash and Gary. They wouldn't want each other to die. I checked Bulbapedia (it wasn't easy going there) and they consider Brianna to be a contestshipper. HOW IS BRIANNA A CONTESTSHIPPER? This is a so called clue by the contestshippers. SHOOT IT DOWN: Spontaneous Combusken! At the beginning of the episode Ash is practing with his Sceptile who as recently been unable to preform any attacks. Then, Drew makes his appearence, giving Ash advice on broken hearts. Drew has already battled Ash (for May's affection is the common belief of contestshippers) and this could be another way of drew humiliating Ash to May feel in love to him. May blushes as she stares after Drew while holding an unconscious Brianna in Spontaneous Combusken. It is revealed that the rose and the letter was not sent by Drew but by a rookie coordinator named Brianna. May teases Drew about the mix-up, rationalizing that it's not her fault for thinking the rose and the letter was from him. Drew gets slightly embarrassed and blushes when his Roselia begins teasing him as well. Brianna presses the question if May likes Drew or not. In response, May's behavior becomes cautious and coy as she blushes, obviously sensitive to the idea of her and Drew being a couple. After the battle with Brianna and May, Ash asks Drew how he thinks about it, he replies with a 'so-so'. Brock remarks, "Gee, Drew, why don't you tell us how you really feel?" Jessie is made to notice May's love life twice in this episode. She first comments about young love when talking to Brianna and May. The second time, she's sitting with Mime Jr. on the beach, commenting and reminiscing on young love. James and Meowth observe from a distance, confused with her out of character personality. At the end of the episode, Drew reminds May that she only has two ribbons left until the Grand Festival in Kanto. Again, Drew walks off on the beach with May staring after him, blushing.

So you braved the Contestshipping page as well? Good for you. This was one of the harder hints that I was talking about earlier. Probably close to the Wynut episode.
The first part I already said a few things about earlier, otherwise we get proof of one-sided contestshipping when May confronts Drew about the letter.
And with Brianna questioning May about a relationship with Drew, it it obvious that she would blush a little bit talking about such a personal fact with a virtual stranger. She might have acted somewhat similar in "The Bicker the Better" if Ash and the gang weren't next to her.
And the little comment by Brock means absolutely nothing in terms of shipping, they're just trying to get as much as they can from this episode. Brock is referring to the fact that Drew just wasn't giving a straight answer to them.
And finally Jessie could easily have been referring to Brianna, considering she literally fainted after Drew only complimented her.
If anyone wants to add more be my guest.

As for the staring after him. Thjat always happens. She always stars him down or after him when he leaves. That is sort of a habitual thing that the writers added.

That is true. In fact, that stare seemd more like one of admiration of a rival rather then, "love at the fifth sight," or something like that.

The stare seemed like something that Ash would do to gary except without the blushing. the whole brianna bieing a Contestshipper was causeshe hinted that May may like Drew, which could be said cause she dosn't want any raivals for Drew and therefore was questioning her.
I also beleve May says something like you can have him, May just wanted the ribbon. About the blushing, well May dose that alot. but it's not always about luv, people blush for many reasons, some even when it is comepletely unnessesary.
and about the Septile thing, is it me or did Ash want to punch Drews lights out? Most people would have if some guy would come up to you nad do something like that, but he held back.
oh and I also said
finally, too much? lucifer, which bit?

Nice job guys. We definitly put a few holes in this episode, although Contestshippers would disagree (obviously). But then again like I said this is one of their "golden" episodes, so they wouldn't want to give an inch on this one. finally, too much? lucifer, which bit? No we can never get enough debate for the Contestshipping hints. They don't have any competition besides us. So they just try to put out as many hints as they can to sound cannon, regardless of the hint's validity. And Xaol what do you mean by which bit?

Ash and Drew battled once right? Who won?
As for contestshipping hints, there's the episode where May and Drew are sitting and standing looking at the sunset. Contestshippers think this is a hint. I see it as a parallel to Ash and Gary when Gary lost the Johto league match to Ash. It's just something rivals do. It doesn't mean they're in lurve.
Yeah, its not as detailed...I'm tired. But its a step towards countering Contest and even Palletshipping (which I also dislike).
