Your rival's name is already set, LuciferIX. It can't be adjusted, I think.
But, yes, this would be very valuable to Advanceshipping. It would put an end to any chance of hoennshipping becoming canon.

Ya I forgot that you can't change it in R/S/E.
And the only place that Hoennshipping could become cannon is in the games, and if this is true than Hoennshipping's claim to fame is definitly out.

That's just one more reason why we should prove that the Ash and May battle exist in the R/S/E games.
Imagine how many people would want to unlock the battle when they figure out that they can battle Ash and May as a couple; remember to consider the number of people who own Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald versions.
This would give us a HUGE upper hand against our opponents. EVERYONE, including kids, who plays Ruby, Sapphire, and/or Emerald would know that Ash and May are a couple.

Hang on I'm gonnna find a link to it but on another Site I'm on a fellow claims to have witnessed his friend unlocking the battle. This goes to prove that not only me and a few of my friends did but others have as well.

Well there are probably a few people working on it here as well. If it worked on Emerald (and I didn't choose May as my character) I would be almost done right about now.

This goes to prove that not only me and a few of my friends did but others have as well. The thing is that not many people will believe it until we have solid video proof, and instructions, so that they can do it themselves. LuciferIX, if you have Ruby or Sapphire, then you can transfer the pokemon from Emerald to one of the former. I'm not sure if it works on Emerald either.

Ya I know, thats what I'm going to be doing. Because of the low powered Elite Four in Hoenn I'll have most of the work done through FireRed and Emerald to keep the time needed at a reasonable level. I'm just saying that it would be nice starting at 330 instead of 130.
Otherwise the instructions would be necessary along with the video if we did post this online as a hint. Having a hint that can be considered concrete evidence requires that it can be repeated by whomever wants to test it. And if anyone has reasonable doubt that it doesn't exist, then they can test it for themselves to find out the truth.

At 330 pokemon caught (I think that's what you mean), you are definately closer to the goal than I am. I don't even have a Firered or Leafygreen.
That is precisely why I suggest that instructions be posted along with the video.

I have the National Dex and have beaten the game. Also have completed said Pokedex. This doesn't happen, sadly. You just get another star on your trainer card.

Even if you do get it all, remember it is a random event. So even then chances can be... random.
If it is possible.

That's BS because I saw the same thing on ASU what they did was take a regular couple and turn it into that and the text should be bigger if it's ruby or sapphire

Oooh, this is interesting. It's too bad that it'll almost be impossible for me to get the National Dex.

Have you seen May anywhere at all after completing the national dex? All ~350 pokemon? Remember that it happens randomly, so they can appear as much as a pokerus or shiny pokemon does.

That is doctored, no doubt. THe text is wrong, the sprites are ugly (by Pokemon standdards) and you can see where the picture warps a bit aroung he sprites. That isn't to say I don't beleive. But like I said, the fourhman guy had completed the dex, and is always looking for odd things like this, so you could ask him, nicely.
