That really sucks Dryuu, but I can see where you are coming from. And 15,000 pesos translates to a huge price over here. You could buy an X-Box with the same amount of money. Thats just robbery.
For me its a toss up between Emerald and Diamond. I loved the fact that you can rechallenge gym leaders in Emerald and the graphics for Diamond are an easy selling point. I just wonder why they didn't allow you to rechallenge gym leaders in Generation IV as well.

You can by an X-box with that!?8O Thats not just robbery, thats unfair to the customers.><
Stupid Emrald game, oh well. My little brother has lost interest in pokemon so I can have his emrald game (Which only has 1 badge but has the complete pokedex recorded) if I can beat it and attempt to get the pokemon he lost to his Diamond game (He lost 2 of the Johto starters! ARG!). Oh well, I was reading that Ash and May in emerald game thread and I wanna see if I can get it.>3(It'll probably happen when Ima on the bus and have no acess to anything that can record or take piccys.XD)

No, you just need the National Dex completed, but I'm not sure about Emerald, because they did have to change the engine to add in the Battle Frontier, so they may have deleted the code for the battle.

^I hope so, because I just found out that my bro's game is frickin messed up. He has 386 pokemon, is league champion, and can go to the battle frontier. And I just got the 2 badge and I can't 'find' captain stern because the SS Tidal exsists.-.- So Ima just gonna take all the pokemon I need into my pearl version and try to beat it with my sapphire...
Does anyone know how to get the internal clock to work again cuz my Sapphires is busted.=P

To Lucifer: Well, the exchange rate is approx. P 40 = $ 1 in our economic market. That just goes to show you how much economy in the Philippines is dwindling, leading to poverty for most.
To NN44: Okay, it's obvious that that would be a hacked game, or, what we'd like to call here, "edit".

^ Lol, "edited" game.
Why do YOU THINK that the DS cost as much as a X-box does in the Philippines?

I'm not thinking anything, its fact. As of the currency exchange rates when I calculated it, 15,000 Philippine pesos was about 360 US dollars. An X-Box 360 costs $350. Without tax thats more than enough.

I was actually asking why a DS in the Philippines cost more than a DS in the U.S ( having already calculated the currency exchange ).
From what you calculated, a DS in the Philippines cost about $ 360, but in the U.S, it cost ~ $200; without including taxes for both. So the question is why is there a huge difference in prices? Can't possibly be all shipping costs.

Was it really $200? I completely forgot what I actually payed. Oh well.
Actually shipping the product to the Philippines would be cheaper considering that almost all DS's are made in China, not figuring in the reduced cost for the larger bulk shipping to the US (but even that wouldn't change it too dramatically). The reasoning that it is more expensive is because of inflation and the differences between the two currencies. As Dryuu said the Philippine peso isn't doing all that well right now, of course the American dollar is losing its value as well these days.

I paid $150 AUD for my DS, I bought it from work and I traded some old stuff to make up for the price. It was about $185 AUD.

-That term was high and mighty at the reign of game time of Diablo. Ah, memories. of course, I never tried it myself. I may be exaggerating, but it's in the approximate price anyway. Plus, there is the fact that average DS cartridges(still no one's confirmed this for me) cost no lower than P 2,000. Relative to that, how much does an actual DS cost? Still high, if you ask me.

I bought the DS and the cartridge from Target, a superstore.
