Wondertombs?
Never fought one before, but I can already imagine the pain of having to fight it, or a hacked sableye.
Yes, these are the hacks I've been talking about.
Well, limiting the TMs a person gets add to the strategy. It forces the player to choose wisely on which pokemon he/she uses it on.
Speaking of pokemon, I recently received a strange ditto from the GTS station. It was caught in a masterball and held an experience share. The masterball that caught it, and the experience share must have been hacked, or they could be the "real" items that were replaced by hacked ones.
This makes me have a total of four experience share in my possesion. I got the other three from my Pearl and previous Sapphire games. I got one from Pearl, one from Sapphire before I started over the game, and the last one from the latest Sapphire game I played. Before starting over each game, I would transfer a pokemon holding the experience share to my brother's Ruby version, and then transfer it back to the new Sapphire game I started. Once pal park became available, I transfered it to my Pearl version.
I also did this to the other valuables I collected from previous games. ;D

I also do that, transfer items. I think its a good way to complete the dex, train pokemon, and other things!

Same here with transferring items, except I consider two of my versions "expendable." So if I need another TM, another legendary, or something else I'll just start it over and get to that point. Then trade it over and it might possibly make its way to Diamond if not then at least to Emerald (I like to think there is somewhat of a hierarchy with my versions)

What team do you have?

I would mostly be using Garchomp, Metagross, Milotic, and Snorlax. Then I have a small assortment of others to choose from for the other two. I'm not a real competitive battler but I have done limited IV breeding and EV trained all of them (god bless Pokerus and Macho Brace).

Are you done constructing your team?
I'm still breeding mines.

Like I said, I only spent limited amount of time on the IV's. I breed about 30 of them and took the best out of that batch (unless they were all horrible). So I probably only have about an average of ~25 IV, most probably a little higher than that. I'm not patient enough to try and get perfect IV's, especially when I'll barely ever use them in a link battle.
But otherwise, ya I guess I am done. I just make another spare every now and then if I like the Pokemon enough. Like right now I have a Lucario and a Ninetails in the process of being built, just waiting on a few things to get done before I finish them.

A spent A LOT of time on just one of my members, CYBERNETIC. I bred over 70 of its kind. I finally found one I liked and gave it the name.
Link battle? Are you planning to battle on wi-fi anytime soon?

No plans to do so at least, not even sure where the nearest wi-fi is out here. But seeing as how its a college town, it probably won't be hard to find one if I looked.

There is probably wi-fi in wherever you see people working with laptops, lol. Or you could do what The Dark Fiddler does, go to the library to use wi-fi; assuming you have one from where you are.

Like I said I should find one if I actually looked, I just haven't looked. I think they even added a few on campus in a few areas.
At least unlike Dark Fiddler I can at least drive myself if I wanted.

Wondertombs? Never fought one before, but I can already imagine the pain of having to fight it, or a hacked sableye. If you have odor sleuth or foresight, you can negate their ghost type and they become a pure dark type. If you have Miracle Eye then they become a pure ghost type. They're also vulnerable to the effects of stealth rock, spikes, toxic spikes, sandstorm and hail. Well, limiting the TMs a person gets add to the strategy. It forces the player to choose wisely on which pokemon he/she uses it on. Good point, but I haven't got one team, it is useful to have several that you can mix and match based on the knowledge you have of your opponent. In that sort of situation it can be very useful to have TMs at your disposal. And there are still several useful moves that you cannot obtain through TMs and must raise the pokemon to obtain.

Oh and Praetor, when you finish your team msg me. I'll wouldn't mind battling you. Like I said I just need to find out where the easiest wi-fi connection is, which won't be hard once I actually start looking. I just haven't really fought another player since Crystal I think.

Problem with this is that these attacks are not used very often. They are better off used by pokemon designated as "ghost hunters." If you are going to mix and match to fit your needs against your opponent then you don't need many of your pokemon learning the same moves, or many TM's of the same type. You require a variety, so there is no need to cheat to get more than one TM of the same type. I think you want to battle other opponents at level 100, correct? Then if you want to raise pokemon to learn a certain move, why not just do that while leveling your pokemon to 100. It'll be a long while before I'm ready, but when I am, then I will announce it in the Battle Room thread of this board. Feel free to combat other people in the thread; that's what it is for.

Most battles I have taken part in are around the level 50 mark. I was referring moreso to pokemon that do not learn those moves as they level up.
