Do you have any "American originated" supermarkets or warehouse stores in the U.K?

Is there an actual Walmart in the U.K? Or is it represented by the stores they own?
Now that we have at least a few opinions, can we get the actual debate started?

There is no Wal-Mart here. There is Asda, which was a big chain in its own right until being bought out by Wal-Mart a few years back.
I honestly have no idea what Costco is like, so I can't really vote. I work in a Sainsbury's while I'm home from uni.

Costco is one of those bulk sellers, they sell you things in bulk (pakcs of boes of maccaornni, for example), generally slightly more cost efficient in at least one way than supermarkets.

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tesco#United_StatesThat would be Tesco. They are one of the big four fish along with Morrisons, Asda, Sainsburys. and just about everyone in the country has gone into one of those four at least once in their lives. They already have 60 shops in the US
