I don't think age should be important. As long as the atheletes are at an Olympic level, they deserve to be in the competition, but that is my opinion.

Yh. I agree with Preator there. I mean the U.K. sent a 14 year old.

I agree with the two above statements.
Oh well, what's done is done, and nobody can do anything about it.
And if anybody's lying, it's the Chinese government.
But hey, my suspicions could be wrong.

After some thinking, I realized there could have been only one logical reason for permitting 16+ atheletes into the Olympics.
It is because it would be humiliating for more senior or older athletes to lose to younger (less than 16 years old) competitors.

God I wish I was able to pzrticipate in the Olympics sadly I failed to qualify in both Tae-Kwon Do and Wrestling. well maybe in 4 years

We have some great Canadians going to Beijing for Para-olympics. Hopefully, we can cash out there as well as we did in the Olympics.
