But...wasn't it already said that the virus is able to spread through the zombies' "bodily fluids"? What if, perchance, some blood got on you after using said melee weapon? Wouldn't you be screwed?

^ I wouldn't have a body remember?
I would have transplanted my brain and encased it inside a walker, so I can't be affected by zombification.
Plus, zombies can't get through harder-than titanium armor; the most damage they can do is ruin the paint job.

Well, yes, in that instance, you'd be immune. I guess what I'm saying is that if you didn't have the luxury of replacing your body Simmons2.0 style, why would melee weapons be a second-best weapon? Wouldn't you be better off running?[/logic nerd] Gah, nevermind... Guess I'm speaking nonsense again.

No, you aren't. but, you see, unless you get blood or saliva in you veins/arterries you can't be zombified. It travels up to your brain, and replaces cells.
anyway, a melee weapon IS good, because, as long as it can crush the skull or decapitate, it lets you save ammo when dealing with only one or two zombies.
Like I said, Zombie Survival Guide. Google it, order a copy, etc.

If it can actually cut through a real person.... especially people with a lack of fear.

Huh, good point. Guess it'd be more of a blunt weapon, really...
Guess a Master Sword replica would've come in more handy... >.>

What's the Master sword?
I recommend this chainsword (chainsaw + sword) for those on foot like the one in this video.

....Seriously? You don't know what the Master Sword is? Well, think of Link's main weapon, with the purple handle. That's the Master Sword.

Thanks.
The scope of games I play are very narrow, so I don't normally know about most of these things.

The chainsword would be pretty nice, but i would prefer a Chainaxe, and maybe a Heavy bolter to mow those zombies down, but where should I get it from (sigh)
Since I'm living in a place where there isn't too many people, and I mean very few, I would first find some handy tools such as chainsaws, axes, shovels, lots of stuff that I could use as a weapon. The reason that I haven't mentioned any guns is beceause it isn't as easy to get a gun in denmark as other places such as the USA. I would find out how many people in my area that is infected, kill the infected ones and help the survivors.
