Obama had better win. Not because I bet anything, but because, well, America is screwed otherwise

NOW, as of now... Obama - >9000!!!11! McCain - FAILURE. That's a wrap, guys. Here's to another four years. Painless four years, I might add, I hope. Looks like Tim gets to keep his BBC privileges.

It doesn't surprise me that Obama won. Although I'm neutral in the election, even I knew that Obama would win.
We'll have to see what Obama does when he's in office before we can make a clear judgement. He has a lot of work ahead of him with the way the economy is going.

Now, Americans aren't THAT stupid. I mean we had a lot of flopish presidents, yet we gave whites a chance...
Just because he's the first doesn't mean he's the last.
Half my school was depressed Obama one, I on the other hand ran down the hall like a manica screaming, "Hellz YEAH! YOU LOSE BELLA!" XD

Half my school was depressed Obama one, I on the other hand ran down the hall like a manica screaming, "Hellz YEAH! YOU LOSE BELLA!" XD Even though it's true that he might not be the last African-American president, it's VERY important (even more so than the other presidents) that he performs well to give a good impression. The first president of the U.S, George Washington, did pretty well on his first term, and that's how we remember Washington as - a wise, courageous leader. Now, we are having the first African-American president; Obama must do well in the next four years, so we can remember and treasure the election of the first African-American president in American history. Otherwise, how do you think people fifty years from now will think if the first African-American president was a flop? The economy will be a HUGE issue (I think) that will decide how well Americans think of the first African-American president. It will either propel him into the history books as a well-respected president, or he will go down in history as a flop.
