True, but the series was to long. Not to mention they made some of the power-up scenes too long.

They did do that but it was meant to add to the feelings of excitement some felt for the more epic battles. It was just a cheapo way to add to the build up.

It did the first time through, but it kills it while rewatching it. But I will say that DBZ or Pokemon were probably the first major interaction most people had with Japanese animation, and for that it does get good marks.

Amen to that. Without DragonBall or Pokemon, we probably wouldn't have this much access to Japanese anime/manga.

I watched Dragon Ball Z when I was younger, but then it got so complex I couldn't keep up with it. So I stopped.
