May will go to Sinnoh while Ash is in a filler region. After they are done they can travel in the new fifth generation region; which will be the region in the next generation set of games Nintendo produces.

I'm thinking a rehash of Johto, hopefully, because I wanna see there again, and that can be considered a hint for us.

Only if May is still there...
That would be a filler region though, I think Xaotl wants to know the actual 5th generation region.
This is my 300th post!!! ;D ;D ;D

I think they'll bring out an equivalent to Emerald for the DP series. With Giratina on the cover, if there's any extra places included in that one like Battle Frontier was included in the AG series, that will be the next destination.
As far as Regions go, if they DO a 5th gen game then I would hope it would be the Shikoku region. Since all regions are based on actual regions in Japan. Kanto is based on the Kanto region of Japan. Johto is based on the Kansai region, west of Kanto. Hoenn is based on the Kyuushuu Region and if you turn the island of Kyuushuu 90 counterclockwise it's identical to Hoenn. Sinnoh is based on the Hokkaido region of Japan.
There are still several areas they haven't done yet, I would like them to do Shikoku! ;D

They have to go to Orre sometime. I never thought it existed until Michael bought Gale of Darkness. Shows how far behind I am on Pokemon games.....

Orre is based on Arizona apparently...

Orre is based on Arizona apparently... So, not ALL regions are based off of Japanese islands. If they chose an area as random as Arizona, then expect the unexpected; they could choose Siberia if they wanted to.

You can never have enough Ice types. I'd like to see a tropical region as well, something like rain forest. The artists would love designing those Pokemon.

I agree, there are not too many pure ice types or fire types.

There are a decent amount of pure fire types, but Snorunt/Glalie were the first pure Ice types. And even after Gen IV there are only 4 pure Ice types.

Yes, that's my point. 4 is not a lot of ice pokemon.

Forget pure Ice Types! What we need for once in a Pokemon game is a Dark Type Gym!

^Agreed we may find something like that in the Orre region. Also i do believe we will have a filler where he spends six months in the Sevii islands
