Okay, I was talking about this in the Anti-Writers block thread and I FINALLY finished it. Yay! I am going to put it up here first, only because I don't think it is the kind of story I would normally put up and it just isn't my style.
So in a way I am experimenting with my writing ability. I hope you guys enjoy it and tell me what you think! ;D
May awoke; she was sleepy from staying up so late with Dawn and Misty. Being a sleepover naturally the girls stayed up as late as possible.
Dawn was next to wake up. She got out of her sleeping bag and stretched. Misty, was still asleep.
“So, what’s for breakfast?” Dawn asked.
May thought for a second. When she originally planned the sleepover she didn’t think about breakfast.
“Um, well. We could always just have donuts.” May said, she wasn’t quite sure if they even had any donuts. But, in Petalburg City you could get anything, anywhere with a quick dial of a phone. Thank goodness for May.
“Okay, but we might want to wait until Misty wakes up.” Dawn suggested referring to the red head still asleep in the corner of May’s living room.
“Yeah, that might be a good idea.” May said, and snuck into the kitchen.
“Hello is this Donuts to Go?” She asked quietly.
-
Later that morning, after Dawn and May devoured half of the donuts May just ordered Misty woke up.
Misty sleepily walked into the kitchen. “Mornin.” She said happily.
May and Dawn gasped. They were both staring at Misty’s head.
“What?” she asked questioningly. Misty didn’t like the look both of the younger girls were giving her.
“Your hair.” They said in unison.
“Yeah, what about it?” Misty asked again.
“It…it…”
“IT IS WHAT!?” she responded clearly aggravated.
“It is a serious case of BED HEAD!” Both girls yelled.
“AHHH!” Misty screamed running into the bathroom. When she entered she stared into the mirror. It was a complete mess. Her red hair looked like it was in a huge afro. The only difference was that in the back of her head was a huge knot that looked like it could house a family of birds.
May and Dawn rushed after her. They had all been through the horrible disease cursed as Bed Head. Good thing they knew exactly what to do.
“Don’t worry I know just what to do, follow me.” May said running up to her bedroom.
The two other girls followed. May ran into her room and slid to her bed. She reached under it and pulled out an Emergency Kit labeled ‘Cure for Bed Head, for Emergency’s only’.
Dawn and Misty looked down at her. “You have an emergency bed head kit in your room?” they asked.
“Yeah, you got a problem with that?” she answered with a question of her own.
“No, no, we don’t have a problem with that right Misty.” Dawn said nudging the older girl.
“Right, right.” Misty responded.
“Okay, now sit on the bed. Dawn I am going to need your help okay.” May said putting on a pair of rubber gloves.
“Okay.” She said and ran up next to May.
-
“And voila!” May said putting the finishing touches on Misty’s head.
Misty ran up to the mirror in May’s bedroom. She couldn’t believe it, in less than 20 minutes both girls had fixed her bed head problem and restored it to its original beauty.
“Aw! You guys are awesome.” She said giving each girl a hug. “But, did you really have to put on rubber gloves and masks.”
May and Dawn looked at each other. “Yeah.”
“You guys are impossible.” She said descending the stairs.
“We know.” Both girls said in unison.
