Some people (in particular the contestshippers and pokeshippers) have said that the ribbons that Ash and May brought out has no romantic feelings attached to it, but wasn't there an episode where a girl dreamed of winning a contest with a boy that she loves and splitting the ribbon? I think she became jealous when May talked to that boy, and no the boy is not Drew. I forgot the name of the episode, so can anyone list it? It's called "Mean With Envy" in the dub. And yes, there is a young "couple" (at least the girl seems to see it that way) named Erica and Joshua. May is talking to Joshua and Erica comes over all jealous and informs her that she and Joshua plan on making it to the finals of the contest, where they will then tie and share the ribbon, becoming the first couple to ever win a contest together. There's like a flash-foward of said event, and then, interestingly enough, May looks away and says, "Yeah, like that'll ever happen." But yeah, Erica seems to consider the idea of splitting a ribbon with Joshua to be very important, and not just in a friendly sense.

Thanks to Cascade, I found the episode guide in Serebii: www.serebii.net/anime/pictures/houen/392ps3.shtmlAs you can see from the way Erica references to splitting the ribbon by dreaming of tying the contest with Joshua , the episode comes to prove that the writers may think of splitting a ribbon up to be more than just friendship.

This should be used against those Contestshippers on Serebii.

Now is not a good time because the mods there seems to be throwing a fit.

"そうなの?" ;D Are the mods the shippers? That's ridiculously biased and unfair. Oh well... Good thing I haven't joined that site.

"Sonansu!" ;D Sorry, couldn't help myself. You should know what I'm like when it comes to the Wobbster. But seriously, there's so much AS bashing in that AS vs CS thread, it makes me cringe to read it. And it seems like the mods are leading the charge for CS. Kudos for XAOTL and Cascade for sticking in there!

That is quite unfair and incredibly un impartial.

I agree, and you know what I just noticed? Wobuffet needs an evolution.

I agree, and you know what I just noticed? Wobuffet needs an evolution. No it doesn't, Wobbuffet is cheap enough as it is without improved stats.

Totally agreed here. That is why he is called the first Psuedo-Legendary.

What? Wobb isn't a Pseudo-Legendary. He's just an Uber, due to being extremely broken. Though he's being tested for OU play these days.
Current Pseudo-Legendaries are: Dragonite, Tyranitar, Salamence, Metagross and Garchomp.

The term Pseudo Legendary refers to a group of Pokemon families that have difficult capture rates, high base stats and evolve at rather high levels. So yes, the Pokemon Dave mentioned above belong under that definition. Wobbuffet's position in Pokemon tiers is being debated at the present time. As of RSE, it was considered an Uber tier Pokemon along with it's pre-evolved form. It is being argued as to whether or not Wobbuffet can be considered a part of the Uber or OU tier.
