Most of the worst TV shows and films have more than two writers. It won't be easy, so anyone looking for an easy answer should forget about it. It'll be very hard work and it will be time consuming and mentally draining. Whoever goes through with it, good luck.

Like I said before, I'm sure PikamasterADV has grown to be better than he was when May's Crush was written, so he might have the capability of taking on a task like that.
We could have waterflowershipping artwork and videos to supplement the story. That could do it as well, because of the amount of people on Youtube.

Again, its not a bad idea, but I still have my doubts that they'd seriously go for it, no matter how awesome a fanfiction was written. Like, okay, what if a group of Pearlshippers (and yes, I support Pearlshipping, but thats not the point) what if they all saw Advanceshipping as a viable threat and attempted to persuade us to start pairing May with another character, like Drew, or Paul, or anyone else for that matter. Would we do it? No. And I hate being the voice of negativity in the matter, but I just don't see them dropping their "I <3 Pokeshipping" & "I <3 Contestshipping" flags for such a crack pairing as Waterflowershipping. Again, I really am sorry for the negativity.

You have a point.
I was just tossing an idea around to help out Ninja44 and Sp1derp1g.
Edit: We might not even have to target the pokeshippers and contestshippers; we could promote waterflowershipping to PREVENT any more POTENTIAL shippers from supporting pokeshippers and contestshippers.
If the people thinking about becoming a contestshipper or pokeshipper is introduced to waterflowershipping, given that they hate Advanceshipping, then they might consider becoming a waterflowershipper instead. That way, we could stop new shippers from supporting pokeshipping and contestshipping.

If its people who are devoid of a ship yet, then they may very well like and accept the idea of Waterflowershipping. You never can tell.

And so, a plan is born... Sorry, I just had to do that...

Not to mention it would be a far easier task than trying to convert the fanatics. Although it would have to be a fairly massive campaign to promote it enough to the point where the other two would actually even look at the ship.

^The hippies did it in the 60's, we could do it now! We just need something like Woodstock to promote, except online.><
-groans- But I really don't support waterflowershipping.<=( I like orangeshipping, and ShuuxNozomi (whatever that ship is called.=P) But I will help. Ima loyal person and I can't turn my fellow shippers down.
Now first off we need to do something that would be SO big it would blow the entire pokemon shippers down (or the will-bes since we're targeting those.=)). We could start with fanfics and build up to bigger things such as youtube videos, banners on websites...please tell me when you have more ideas.>.O

I chose to use one ship because it is easier to focus on than two ships. I am also an orangeshipper, but I much rather deal with waterflowershipping than MORE contestshippers and pokeshippers.

^ Hah. It's already happening! "I don't like this shipping." "Oh but I don't want to upset these shippers." You must be joking! Making a propaganda ship to win people over, no wonder the shipping community hates us. You've missed the point of a fanfic. You write what you want to, not to cater to the masses or else you'll forever be trying to please everyone.

^ Yes, we do write what we want to give others another perspective that they might not have experienced before. That would be part of the aim of promoting waterflowershipping; to give people who are in the midst of choosing to support contestshipping and/or pokeshipping with another choice. The fics would show the positive, attractive, convincing, and perhaps logical qualities of waterflowershipping that the will-be shippers never thought of before.
When a person is in the middle of deciding which shipping to support, any kind of stories or fics are considered to be propaganda.

I prefer the aim of a fanfic to be writing for yourself. If others enjoy what you write, then that's fantastic. It is easier to write for yourself than to write for others.

No contest on that claim James.
But then again I really can't see any true reason for them being together besides just for our benefit. If you really wanted to make a viable shipping off of this you need to have good chemistry or hints between the characters. Since they haven't met before the latter is non-existent. So really the only way that would be the viable option to get them together would be in Drew using that pretty-boy attitude that we all hate to win over Misty. Other than that I really can't see any correlation between these two.
Although if by some act of god that you actually pull this off it would be useful. It just a little far fetched.

^Ditto.
Really, and the contestshipeprs don't seem to take lightly to never-met ships.=P I know we want to kill two birds with one stone, but seriously. If it takes two stones to kill two birds, Ima fine with that. Let's just be realistic.<=/
