Oh my computer started playing up and this site wouldn't load. It was like that for about an hour or so, very annoying.

That happens to me seldomly too; as with everyone else, I think.

I'm sorry Lucifer, I thought only Praetor and I played StarCraft. But, anyway, James, I know what you mean. I have three unread pms but it won't load...

Water would be my choice. Starmie, Mantine, Poliwrath, Kingdra, Swampert and Vaporeon would be in my line up. I know some of them are seldom used, but I don't generally think of a team with stats alone in mind.

.. which can lead to bad things sometimes. For example, a bug gym with only Caterpie, Weedle, Kricketot, Ladyba, Spinerak, and Wurmple, no matter the levels, as long as they were no more than 20 levels above opponents, would lose 99% of the time.

^ That's true in the game, but in the show, it's different.

Yeah, but then it's probably stats. a fast Caterpie has a high Speed stat, and can dodge attacks better.

Seeing as how too many people here have posted psychic, I'm going to have to go with ghost.
Team:
Haunter Spiritomb Banette Dusknoir (SP?) Mismagius Gengar

I thought you would go with dark seeing it seems to fit with your theme, but ghost is a good choice too.
Dave, do you think you have enough people to recruit from for the Satoharu league?

I'd go for normal in the poll, they have bigger move pools, but if I was a gym leader, I would choose a team with different types in it.
This would be my team Nidoqueen, Bellossom, Espeon, Milotic, Blissey and Ninetails.

^ Normal type is also the most flexible type because it has only one weakness -- fighting.
There was a gym leader who had a team with different types in it too -- Giovanni of the Viridian gym.
You should get a Diamond or Pearl game, or better yet, wait until Platinum comes out.

Unfortunately, the Satoru League seems to be dead. Oh, I've been wondering for too long, what does (SP) mean?
