What you are about to read was not written by me, but my friend Nathan. This is taken without alteration from

I am about to write everything down in this post from my mind. None of this was pre-scripted.
I must say 95% of things that a person does in their life will be in direct correlation with a social status or outcome. Virtually every item purchased will be impacted by society and social pressure. How we feel about ourselves will always be affected by what we hear and see around us.
I would like to start off my Thesis with an example. We have two Women: Nancy and Lucy. Both are identical twins separated into alternate universes at birth. These are the lives of these two Women. Nancy lives in a place all on her own in the heart of an unknown land.
Nancy's needs that are satisfied without social impact:
-Does not need a man as sexual contact was never brought to her attention, although learns to please herself and does not worry about offspring for she does not know of such hings.
-Does not need any exercise regimen, as her Amazon-like hunting keeps her fit, and her diet keeps her lean without needing to worry of what she eats. Her constant physical exertions give her an Iron Curtain of an Immune System.
-Does not worry about hair in private areas, or anywhere else for that matter. This body hair helps keep her warm during cold times.
-Does not worry about appearance, as she is the only one of her kind. She is unique, and sees herself as a beautiful being in a beautiful world.
Lucy's Modern needs left unsatisfied due to social impact:
-Desperately searches for a man as her impending biological degrading is pounded unto her from friends. Too stressed to please herself
-Is constantly reminded to exercise, and her social life prevents her from finding time to take care of herself. Feels fat, although she is in fact roughly the same size as Nancy, albeit not as fit. Everything she eats makes her fatter in her eyes.
-Shaves, although she feels uncomfortable doing so, but continues because society labels hairy women as "primitive"
-Overdoes makeup, and spends her hard-earned money on jewelry because it is labeled as something that makes women more attractive.
What have we discovered after looking at the lives of these two very alike women? Society impacts Lucy so much that if she were to meet Nancy when they were both 40 Lucy would be having a mid-life crisis while Nancy's only concern would be who she was dealing with.
Let's all say it to ourselves right now: There is absolutely NO benefit to Jewelry. NONE. If you think you can just sell it later on, then why buy it in the first place and lose the money?
We don't need so many things. Why do women look for successful men? No longer do women look for chivalrous activity in the opposite sex. They look for the following:
-Possibilities for themselves
-Money
-Things to brag to their female friends with.
Interestingly enough, common men today are so self-consumed that they can in certain cases be invulnerable to the lure of society. This of course leads them to be victim of the advancing policies of women.
Now, I'm not meaning to bash women, but it is true. All women reading this, answer me these questions:
-Have you worn makeup or jewelry to look good for other people in the last week?
-Have you called yourself fat in the mirror?
-Have you lied to yourself about the motivation behind why you did what you did in response to the last two questions?
Many people have developed a self-defeating attitude due to society's vicious cycles. I have developed one myself, which has pushed on my attempts to be different.
Which brings me to my next point. Hippies. I used to be scared of them as a small child. I never really did have a good reason for doing so. I now know what hippies stood for. Their goal was to show the USA that they rejected common American values. I now only wish there were more hippies in this country, more people willing to be different and not consumed by Television sitcoms, or bow down to TV media.
This has been part one of Nathan Fabrikant's Thesis on Social influence. Thank you for reading.
