I just watched the new tag battle episodes: Tag..we're it, Blaze of Glory, and Smells Like Team Spirit.
I have to say, all the shippers that have to do with Dawn better watch out. This new guy, I'm guessing he is going to be a recurring character as well, Conway, seems to have taken an interest in Dawn. He is Dawn's tag battle partner, and he acts like a creepy version of Max. Just think of him as a scheming Max that prefers defensive tactics. There was more evidence than I could list, however, Dawn does not SEEM to take an interest in Conway.
A MAJOR development on Brock's part; his tag battle partner was a woman named Holly. At first she stated that she wasn't interested in him. (Very CLEARLY too) However, she became impressed by Brock's ability to heal pokemon just like Nurse Joy. Later in the tag battle, there was a scene where Holly was STARING AT BROCK WITH HEARTS IN HER EYES!!!!! That was a big clue right there.
They lost in the tag battle to Ash and Paul ( who has an awesome torterra by the way ), and Holly blamed herself for the lost. She took this so hard, that in fact, she LEFT BROCK BECAUSE SHE THOUGHT SHE WASN'T WORTHY OF HIM. She promised she will return as a partner again to Brock once she has toughened up. Nurse Joy was the one who told Brock all about why she left him. This wasn't an assumption by me. Brock later said that he lost the only woman who was interested in him (or something along those lines). This might become canon if Holly becomes a recurring character.
