Here's a symbolism fic just spurted from my mind a minute ago. Just a filler, with no placement on the plot, of either one of my two series timelines, Trials or NLC. It would be pretty obvious what the symbolism is. As usual, it stars the "main character" of the Trials and NLC series(guess who? ).
DISCLAIMER: I don't own Pokemon.
It was a sunny day in the park at an unidentified locale. Outside the Pokemon Center, Ash is asleep with his head on a park benchtable, and his Pokemon are nearby, next to a plot of different flowers.
Ash's Monferno pointed to some roses. Monferno(What about those?)
Pikachu shook his head. Pikachu(Nope. They will think us copycats if we use those. Plus, it reminds me of Him, and remembering Him reminds me of the, even worse to remember, psychopathic crossdresser.)
Monferno blinked as Pikachu shivered in fear at the spot. The two walked off, not noticing Pichu who was nearby. It seems that the baby was listening in on the other two Pokemon's cconversation, and has an idea of its own.
Pichu scampered to the rose bushes, and, without thinking, tried to grab one of the roses by the stem. Pichu cried out in pain, which was quickly heard by the two previous Pokemon, who quickly came running back. When they reached pichu, the baby's lips are now quivering, ready to cry.
Knowing that a crying Pichu would mean trouble for them with May, Pikachu and Monferno tried their hardest to calm the baby down. But, before a tear could trickle down its face, Pichu pouted in anger, and tried kicking at the rosebush. It tried kicking the bush, but tripped, and landed backwards on its back. NOW it began to cry, much to the alarm of the other two Pokemon.
May stepped out of the Pokemon Center just in time to hear Pichu cry. Monferno and Pikachu looked like they were frozen, petrified at the spot, as May headed towards them. she ignored them however, and picked Pichu up, trying to calm the baby down.
"There, there," May said softly as she examined Pichu's thorn wounds at the fingers, and started massaging them with her own fingers. "There, they won't hurt too much now."
Pichu's calmed down thanks to May's nursing, but several ideas sprang up to its head. These ideas are shown as "fantasies" in a thought bubble above Pichu's head. One fantasy involved trampling the roses with a rolling Donphan. Another was having Monferno, conveniently nearby, clawing at the ground until all the roses are uprooted.
The last idea was about Charizard, which is quite simple and very obvious. Charizard looms over the flower field, and uses Flamethrower on the roses. Pichu would be on top of Charizard's head in the fantasy, manipulating the fire using the larger Pokemon's horns like levers.
Whether or not Pichu will go along with these ideas, is not known. It is clear, however, that the look in its eyes just as May carried the baby back into the building means that the ordeal isn't over.
=====
Pichu later stepped out of the Pokemon Center, alone. Nearby is Ash, still asleep. Pichu went back to the flower plots, and ignoring the roses, inspected the other flowers. One kind of flower caught the baby's eye: a daisy. Pichu picked off three daisies and snubbed the roses like the Pokemon thought they were sentient or something.
With the daisies, Pichu climbed its way up to the parkbench, right next to Ash's head. Pichu kept bumping Ash's arms, trying to wake the latter up. When he did come to, Pichu happily shoved the daisies onto his open palms.
"Huh? Wha-?" Ash, still groggy, examined the flowers half-heartedly, and scratched his head. "What're you giving me this for? I'm not interested in flowers..."
Ash tried giving back the daisies, but Pichu insisted that Ash hold onto them. Just then, May reappeared. "Oh, there you are, Pichu. I've been looking all over for you." Instad of going into her arms, Pichu pointed to Ash happily, indicating the flowers.
"Ash? What are you doing with those flowers?"
"Hey, I didn't pick them; this little troublemaker did. Here, you take it." Ash gave May the daisies. The gesture made Pichu clap happily at them, which befuddled Ash even more. "What now?"
May smiled at the daisies in one hand, while picking Pichu up with the other. "I think Pichu gave you these so you can give them to me. Isn't that rather obvious?"
Ash scratched his head and grinned sheepishly. "Er, no, maybe not."
This comment made everyone sweatdrop and Pichu to comically hang back his head in disbelief. May sighed, and sat next to Ash, Pichu on her lap, watching their every move. "I'm thinking that it'll take me a long time to explain everything..."
Nearby, behind Ash and May, it was Pikachu and Monferno's turn to pout. Monferno(He took our idea...)
Pikachu patted his teammate on the back. Pikachu(It is painful, but he'll get his someday...)
Hearing them, Pichu turned in their direction. One look at the baby's eyes froze the other two in their tracks again. This time, they were both shivering in a comical fashion, before Pichu returned to gazing at Ash and May.
Pikachu(Shcary... Veiry... SHCARY!!!)
END
Pikachu's last words were not typhos; they were "accents".
