Well are you? for me i am slighty but not that much. i mean back when May was around advanceshipping was the bomb and poke and advanceshippers wouldn't stop fighting about who has Ash.
Now pearl is in that makes matters worser than before.
Now imagine pokemon going up to 6 or even yet 7 generations. that would be 6 girls in total.
To my guess if pokemon does go up to 7G do you think advanceshipping will still be there and do you think May will still be mentioned and will there still be hope or hints to keep us advanceshippers more hope?
I mean fan fiction and serebii are full of CS fan fics. it's amazing that they can still write even though Drew might never make a appearence again. I hardly see fan fiction from advanceshippers so i thought maybe they are loseing hope for advanceshippers. i mean we all know that pokemon isn't going to end yet, not by a long shot.
I mean the good advanceshippers like PikamasterADV. (come on we all know him) are starting to fade away. i mean what happened to him? maybe one day i will soon fade away from fan fiction and maybe a few years later i will come back and go "Hi im back!" but maybe i would be the only one supporting this ship and maybe when i go and say i like advanceshipping they might go "Whats that?"
It's amazing that the old pokeshippers still have their hopes high. even thought Misty might never travel with Ash again and maybe May is in the same boat. or maybe May might travel with Ash once again but time is the only one to answer our questions.
But if May dosen't will you still support advanceshipping even though May won't be with Ash like she did in AG and BF?
For me i really don't know. to keep my hopes high are to read and write fan fiction and re watch the good advanceshipping hints.
So what about you guys?

Anywho, I suppose our hints are at a bit of a standstill from May's absence, but hey, more future hints aren't impossible. And no worries; I have confidence that PikamasterADV will return. Can't say when, but I don't think he'll be gone forever. |

That's usually because it also has Pokeshipping and Ikari/penguinshipping in the mix. But supporting ashxmayxdawnxalltheothergirlstocome isn't all that hard to do  |

Don't forget that many of the cs fics are alternate universe.
New generations of Advanceshippers appear every once in a while, sometimes replacing the old ones. The hints we received during this season is a nod toward our ship; that the writers still acknowledge May.

Well I'm gunna say. I WILL NEVER LOSE HOPE FOR ADVANCESHIPPING. Though guys. There are rumors about the last generation of Pokemon. I still have hope that May will come back. Why? Because Misty came back after the Hoenn League. But it's still not a 100% chance I mean We were right when we knew May was going to come back just like Misty did. So I mean time might replay itself all over again. They never got rid of Tracey. Or Gary for that matter he's been revived!  And about PikaMasterAdv he might have faded away you could always go to Youtube and see if he's logged in. Or send him a message. I would. |

That's not true, as long as Pokémon brings money to Nintendo, it won't end.
And PikamasterADV faded, but I'm sure he will come back. I mean, MC2:FF still has 2 chapters to go...

Ever since I became an advancehipper, I have supported it just as much as my interest for warhammer which is quite a lot. Of course there have been, well, let’s just call them unpleasant or awkward moments. About a week ago the episode where May gets her last ribbon in Kanto was showed here, I can honestly say that I felt kinda awkward when she talked to Drew in the end and all that. I know it might be too oversensitive, but that’s just how I am, but I can reassure you that no matter how often and strong these awkward feelings will be, I’ll never turn my back on advanceshipping.
Maybe you’re right, maybe advanceshippers out there are losing hope and reconsiders if it’s worth staying with advanceshipping, I can’t say for sure. But as Praetor said, new advanceshippers will appear and replace those who decided to leave advanceshipping behind for reasons only they know and perhaps will tell us about, let them decide. You’ve also got to think about those out there who actually don’t know that they’re advanceshippers. It took me quite a while to find out that it was called advanceshipping and that there were other people who supported it.
Normally I don’t need anything to keep my hope up and running, but I still like to read fics and watch some eps over again. I’ll have to agree with you on the fic part, those fics I’ve found and read are so good that I can’t believe it, but unfortunately most of them still need endings, and some wasn’t updated last time I checked (will have to check again just to be sure.) You’re also right that the number of advanceshipping fics isn’t as great as some of the other ships, normally I would say that numbers isn’t all, but it would be nice with some more. I’m trying to write myself and I’ve actually got a lot of stuff at the moment, unfortunately I can’t get myself to finish anything , guess it because I fear that my writing isn’t even close to the fics I’ve read. Besides, my time have been very limited, I’m in school for about 8 hours nearly everyday, then I’ve got my homework, but transportation opportunities and I’m also trying to learn how to dance jumpstyle. Look at me, I’ve been registered for some time now and I’m still a rookie member, I don’t even want to start counting the members who’ve registered after me and already have been far more active than I could ever be.
Making a long, boring text short. No I will not lose hope in advanceshipping, I will try to be more active and finish some of my writing (and gather courage to actually post it. Actually have a chapter of a fic ready) I believe that as long as I live, advanceshipping will exist to some extent.
Jeez, next time I’m holding a speech like that, can someone slap me then. Guess I get a little too overanxious when I’m tired, got music in my ears and types. And sorry if it sounded like I’m some sort of advanceshipping militant, wasn’t meant to.

My hope is fading a bit, considering more and more Pearlshipping hints... But no, no, NO! I will NOT give into any other ships out there! Advanceshipping is my #1 fave ship! Still, a lot of Advanceshippers turned into Pearlshippers (PDXplus, for example), but we'll have more. |

Narhh, it really shouldn't, on that point I couldn't agree more. But still, I haven't done as much as I could to be an active member and support advanceshipping in public, I'll try to do some thing about it. Let me tell you, that was quality. I became an Advanceshipper for no particular reason at all. I just think that they look good and cute together. But inside sources tell me that no matter how many ships fans set up, the manga will likely to end as Pokeshipping (well, that's what those sources told me don't blame me). In addition to that, there are more Contestshipping entries in FF.net than Advanceshipping entries. I'm really sorry if I'm being negative but I'm only pointing out my observations.

I'm a Pokeshipper turned Advanceshipper because May and Ash seemed so perfect together. Pearlshipping just doesn't have that same vibe. I've said it somewhere already, Dawn's too young for Ash. There's gotta be like six years between them, and maybe three between May and Ash. Not that age matters when the characters don't age officially, but I'm known for overthinking things. Anyway, I won't lose hope in Advanceshipping. Drew can go **** himself and Misty will find someone else. Dawn...I don't know her. I don't know DP. I'm eighteen so I can't have Pokemon on a normal volume anymore without being ridiculed for it, although I fiercely defend the games. In conclusion, I will stay an Advanceshipper forever. It's too perfect to not be true  |
