If I get what you mean, you're saying that I should have the ending already planned as well as the beginning, right? Don't worry, Paul and I have both played and finished BoFIII, so i have a good idea of the ending. Here are the main characters(I'm thinking what Pokemon characters, apart from two, can fit in the description): Ryu- a young dragon who was sealed in chrysm(the name of a magical mineral) for centuries. He doesn't remember this, and under a short chain of events found himself into the hands of a couple of thieves and fellow orphans, Rei and Teepo, who adopt him, starting a small family. After a couple of misadventures, Ryu and his brothers were finally accepted by their hometown, McNeil, after they defeated a monster that was causing trouble for the town. Naively seeking for more recognition, the three also decided to rob the corrupt mayor of McNeil a'la Robin Hood. But what they don't realize is that Mcneil is just a pawn of a larger organization, one who doesn't like being stolen from. Balio and Sunder, twin anthrophomorphic unicorns, were sent by the organization afterwards to take care of the three. The battle was disastrous, and Ryu was separated from his family. This starts Ryu's journey on trying to find them. Throughout the journey, only when Ryu encounters the enigmatic Garland that he learns something bigger's afoot, concerning Ryu's heritage. Rei- the oldest of the three orphan thieves, and supposedly last of the Woren, a race of anthrophomorphic tigers. Being the oldest, Rei is also responsible for his two brothers, a matter he takes very seriously. However, this doesn't stop him from being aloof every once in a while, something that Teepo notes. Teepo- roughly the same age as Ryu, and the most arrogant of the three thieves. He constantly seeks attention and is quite selfish, but cares for his family genuinely. Strangely enough, Ryu often dreams of an adult that resembles Teepo, who kept saying "We don't belong to any of them" over and over. Nina- the sheltered heiress to the Wyndian throne. When Ryu comes to Wyndia looking for Rei and Teepo, she quickly offers her help. However, Balio and Sunder kidnap Nina(for her family's wealth), and Ryu comes to her rescue, only to end up being captured as well. Throughout the story there is a running gag that Nina keeps saying to everyone that Ryu isn't a bad dragon, much to his embarassment. Garland notes that Ryu only transforms into a dragon only to protect Nina. Upon hearing this, Nina wants to be stronger, so Ryu doesn't have to transform anymore. Momo- the sterotypical absent-minded scientist and engineer, Momo meets with Ryu and Nina when they take refuge in her home while being chased by Balio and Sunder. She offers help in their escape, and ends up being entangled with their adventures. Her dream is to find out where all the machines come from, which wash up on beaches on the vast and treacherous Outer Sea. Honey- a tiny chocolate-brown robot that is Momo's sidekick. On Momo's research on chrysm energy, Honey is the only non-hostile machine to go near her. Doesn't have much of a role in the story, until the very last part. Often competes with Pecoros for the role of the group's sidekick and cute mascot, with hilarious results. Pecoros- upon chancing upon a power plant specializing in chrysm-grown crops that Momo's father built, Ryu and party are asked to dispose of a sentient plant mutant in its disposal area. The creature attacked only upon instinct, and after being defeated, asks for forgiveness. He asks that Ryu to do his job, and was felled into the disposal's magma. However, Pecoros, the offspring of the creature, sprang out of the lava. Pecoros is a sentient onion, and also the comic relief in the story. Also, later he seems to have an empathic connection to Yggdrasil, the dying tree of wisdom. Garland- winner and title holder countless times of the Contest of Champions, which was hosted by Balio and Sunder. He is curious about Ryu and his friends after the latter group advanced into the finals of the tournament, despite their ages. When the villainous horses reveal to Garland that Ryu's a dragon, he peaked his interest. Besting Ryu in the finals, Garland chooses the group's freedom as his prize, setting them free. He also helps them in the climactic showdown on Maekyss Gorge, wherein Balio and Sunder were defeated once and for all. In exchange for all of this, all Garland asks is for Ryu to follow him to the Eastern Lands, where he says Ryu will learn the truth of the fate of his race. He also gave a cryptic warning: that Ryu may also learn the truth there, but there's a high possibility that he will die. ===== The story is that the dragons, called the Brood, are supposed to be evil creatures that threatened the balance of the world. After a great war, the Brood were now extinct, or so everyone thought... Until one dragon wakes up alive in the bowels of a mine where his kin were buried. I plan on going on with this project as soon as I am ready for such a big piece. I plan on making Paul help me with this as well. Edit: I forgot to add something. Being the main characters, and the promise that I will make this an advanceshipping story, Ash and May will be portraying Ryu and Nina, respectively. Pecoros, well, since he's essentially similar to a Bulbasaur, but I am having trouble with that one for now. I'm still thinking which Pokemon characters will portray the rest of the roster.

I haven't told Paul about this, but I want to get everyone's opinion first. It's my first big fanfiction project, but I'm not sure if I can get it started for now.
The project is a novelization of Breath of Fire III(which I believe is the most romantic volume of the series), something I thought Paul would have thought of by now. The concern here is that, the characters, and certain elements, will be given a Pokemon touch, if you get what I mean. And of course, it will be Advanceshipping.
Please tell me your thoughts. I'm not starting it anytime soon, but I want to hear your opinions first.

Paul always tells me a good detective(or story analyst, for that matter) can see through the hints with a keen eye. What clues do you have to the identity of the mysterious newcomer on Seafoam Islands?

Paul was wondering why this was neglected again. MH40: Complete Strangers
From the point of view of the poor, hapless Rockets, it was like they were flying through a kaleidoscope. Their surroundings are a nauseating swirl of myriad colors. Like what Cyrus warned them about, travelling through time and space felt like there's something tearing your body from inside and out.
With bells ringing in their ears, the two humans have to communicate by shouting again, even if they're just inches apart. "Jess, how long do you think we have to go through something like this?!"
"What? I can't hear what you're saying! And don't bug me, I'm too busy wondering how long until we reach where we're supposed to be headed!"
=====
The Seafoam Island beach is one of the finest in the world. Even if it's not summer, the whole joint is packed, with tourists, island natives, the like. Before returning to their adventure, Ash and co. decided to join in the fun. The twilight sky didn't even dampen their "holiday" spirits.
However, unknown to them, they were being watched. Although, the one watching them isn't exactly doing it on purpose; he's just curious.
This mysterious stranger kept from the shadows of the woodlands. He eyed the tourists apprehensively.
"What manner of place is this?" he rasped. "So many strange creatures, and that they interact with humans so easily? Indeed, where did the stupid Void take me this time?"
He tried sneaking further into the forest, but the noise he made was too easy not to go unnoticed. By Pokemon, at least.
Pikachu, in fact, heard the noise that he missed the volleyball that was tossed to him by Floatzel. Pikachu blinked in the direction from where the noise came from. At a split second, he thought he saw bloodshot eyes peering through the bushes!
"Hey, Pikachu, what's up?" Ash said, running up to his electric-type. "You missed your cue, pal, what happened?"
The Electric Mouse pointed to where he saw the eyes, but they're gone. Puzzled, Pikachu could do nothing but scratch his head, thinking whether what he saw was his imagination or not. Wanting to find out more, the rodent ran to the woods to investigate.
"Hey, Pikachu, wait up, where are you going?" Ash shouted.
Pikachu didn't answer, and instead continued running headlong into the wood. Ash, worried for his partner, followed close behind.
=====
When Jessie and James finally got out of the Void, they landed, posteriors first, on cold concrete. Unfortunately, it's right in the middle of a busy sidewalk. People got out of the way when two complete strangers appeared right out of nowhere.
"Ow-ow-ow," Jessie groaned, as she reached for her behind. "It's like we've gone from paper to rock or something. We have to work on our landings..."
"You said it, Jess," James agreed. He, too, was rubbing his sore hiney. They helped each other to their feet, oblivious to the stares directed at them by passersby.
"Why are they looking at us like that?" Jessie asked rhetorically. "It's like they've seen ghosts or something..."
"Uh, Jess," James said, nudging at her, and pulling on her sleeve. When Jessie turned her direction to him, she saw him pointing to the window of the building right beside them.
At the opposite side of the window, were a bunch of seven TV sets stacked together. All seven screens show a certain episode of a certain cartoon, showing Team Rocket!
We're blasting off again!!
Team Rocket, the ones on-screen, were flying into the background. Their images gradually faded until it was a mere sparkle in the sky.
"We're on TV!" Jessie shrieked in excitement. "Oh, I wonder if they got my good side..." This earned them, aside from the stares, waves of murmurs from the gathering crowd.
"But Jess, I don't remember us being on TV before, except for that one time with that director quackpot Cleabo Shpill-something..."
"But, This means we're really famous, James. This could be our big break!"
At that moment, the sound of something dropping hard on the pavement could be heard beyond the wall of onlookers. Then another noise, that sounded like someone saying. "Excuse me, pardon, I'm sorry..."
Someone burst through the crowd. He was medium in height, build, and has spiky black hair. He gaped at the sight of the Rockets, then quickly run up to them.
"Nothing to see here, folks," he said to the crowd, with a big smile on his face. "They're just from some new publicity stunt. Move along, we're sorry for the commotion."
The stranger, ignoring his quarry's shouts of protest, pushed Team Rocket through the throng of onlookers. When they were out of sight, ducking deep into a deserted alleyway, did the stranger stop.
"Man, that was close," he said, stopping his voice in-between deep breaths. He never left his eyes off the Rockets. When h recovered his breath, he blurted out, "What, are YOU two doing here?!" he exclaimed angrily.
Jessie and James blinked. "Huh? Wha-?" James asked.
"I repeat, what are you two doing in this world? Tell me, right here, right NOW."
"What are you talkig about? Do we even know you? You sound familiar..." Jessie snapped.
The young man rolled his eyes. He cleared his throat for a moment, and said, "The sort of laugh often used by female anime villains, where they cover their mouths while laughing? That's the one. It always creeps me out, and Jessie is no exception."
It took a long moment for the Rockets to realize who it was. "I- it, i- i- it, IT'S YOU!" they exclaimed in unison.
"Well, that took a while, geniuses. Now, tell me: Why are you here, of all places?"
"Well, uh, we, uh-" James started, but Jessie cut right to the chase.
"Where is here, exactly, Mr. Bigshot? And why haven't you been in touch with us for the past few episodes?"
"My world. MY. OWN. WORLD. AND. LIFE. Where else do you think I would be? Idiots..." The young man put both hands on his hips. "I'll ask again. What are you doing here?"
"This is what you get for not paying attention to your job once in a while," Jessie muttered. Out loud, "If you remember, you left us at the mercy of the most ruthless crime lord in the Pokemon world, Cyrus. Now, he sent us on this hare-brained journey to search for some powerful energy source."
"And why is that?"
"You expect him to reveal everything to us? That guy's as tight as leather socks, you know what I mean?"
"No, I don't. But, why here of all places?"
James cleared his throat. "I think I remember Cyrus saying something about sending us in locations at random. He also said that he sent us top where the energy surge is closest."
"You sure? Because, in this world, the Void doesn't affect us in the very least."
"Well, now isn't that just lucky for you?" Jessie said sarcastically. Turning to James, she asked, "Now what do we do?"
"Don't look at me!"
Their host sighed deeply. "I'm going to regret this, but, until you idiots figure out how to get out of here, you might as well stay at my place."
The Rockets beamed. However, the young man doesn't feel so lucky himself.

I know because it almost happened to me. I thought Paul and Micah are going to stay together forever. And, when I heard them break up, I didn't want to be an opportunist, so I waited for Paul to come to me. It was a surprise to me that he did, and, well... We've been together over four years now, and we're still running!

To host a pic, go to somewhere like photobucket.com (or imagestation.com, or flickr.com) and upload your picture. it will give you a URL, all your own. Then, when posting a message, click the [image] icon, or just type [*img]YOUR_URL_HERE [/img] (minus the asterisk). and viola! your image should appear in your message.
I know how to up(or down?)load from one site to another. I was already taught that. What I meant was, to put our picture from print into the computer. You need a scanner for that, right? But, we don't have one...
