I used to be in two love triangles, both spawned from high school.
The first time might not even count, as it's just a then-hopeless crush on someone who already had a girlfriend (I was good friends with the guy bck then, but that was it). Also, back then I was actually in late elementary school, while they were already in high school. I ultimately gave up.
The second love triangle was a very weird (for me) reversal. It actually started when I became a freshman of high school. They were both seniors that time too, and the guy I took a liking to ultimately asked me to be "his", and I immediately accepted. The weird part about it is that the guy who I was crushing on in the revious triangle is now the one who has a crush on me. I didn't know about it until I thought it was too late (besdies, he was still seeing his GF back then, so there), and then they graduated so I never got the chance to hear it from him.
A year later, I learned that my boyfriend was moving abroad to study medicine, and he told me that a long-distance relationship would never work out.
("I know that you have someone else that you love, and I know that you still love him even up to now. He's a good friend of mine, too, you know, and he already told me about his feelings for you. Go to him, find him; I won't be mad. In my opinion, the two of you are made for each other more.")
The rest is, hopefully, something you should all know by now. Although, because of his infamy as a jerkass (in most of your eyes, anyway)...
