Please tell us what's worse with a shuckle. Little bit of sexism there man. Congrats on the promotion though. No more stars for you! The only girls who seem to be here regularly are Lara and Ally, so I'll probs PM them about it at some point. I think the Shuckle will have: Toxic, Wrap, Sandstorm and Rest. The most annoying Shuckle moveset possible. I didn't mean that; which was why I said MOST; not all. I, too, wish that the gender ratio is balanced.

Really? Wow. I've seen that moveset under the title "Don't Use This"
The website I go to has great names for stuff like that. Like their Wobb moveset "Oh No, It's Wobbuffet!"
The funniest thing is their Deoxys-A page.
"Counters - Superman. Unforturnately, you can't catch Superman. -----
----- While Dugtrio's chances of safely switching in is equivalent to the world imploding by the time you read this, it traps Deoxys-A and OHKOs it in the groin with Sucker Punch while screaming "Sucker!" like a little boy who has just drawn all over your face with a permanent black marker."
Pure, comedic genius. ;D

I think the Shuckle will have: Toxic, Wrap, Sandstorm and Rest. The most annoying Shuckle moveset possible. Are you serious? I guess for certain types that would pose a problem. But Steel types will pound it to the ground. They're immune to Toxic and Sandstorm and resist Wrap. Against Steel types, the only thing a Shuckle with that moveset can do is Rest (in peace).

And I'd rather not give Vutax ideas. He can make the Shuckle his own way, I'll be annoyed enough by it as it is.

Yup, Pokemon is like Burger King. And I too have thought of a worse Shuckle moveset... It's definitely an annoying way to try and win.

Wait, are we or are we not doing the two tiered (50 and 100) thing? ANd even then, I can only battle when I can get ti the library, but that's not as bad as some of the anime leaders...

We can use the level 50 rule because even Pokemon at lv.100 can be dumb down (but with the same stats) to level 50.

Exactly, any Pokemon above level 50 are automatically lowered to level 50.

But what about th epeople (me) who never get to lv 100? And anyway, if we did the two tiers with seperate leaders, we could potentially cover all but two types (counting the wierd type) My level 57's won't exactly do good against level 100s...

TDF, the point is that Pokemon above level 50 are lowered down to that level, so it doesn't matter.
Although, it does mean I've wasted my time, training all my Pokemon to Lv. 100. But that means that if someone challenges me with a Lv. 100 sqaud, I can answer back at full force.
As long as "Lv. 50" is selected, it should lower everyting to Lv. 50. I've never tried it though, so don't quote me on it...
And what's the "wierd type"? There are 17 types, so with 8 GL's and the E4, that gives us 12, meaning 5 are left out.

OK, I got an idea. If we can decide on the Elite 4 without a battle, I was thinking of having the Champion not go up for battles until a certain time, to allow the challengers to perfect their movesets, as well as the Champion. Plus, Elite 4 members are not obligated to reveal their Pokemon to the challenger. Only the gym leaders and the other members will know.

JB, the point is that there IS not champion at the start. The first challenger that clears the gyms and the Elite 4 will become champion, and all challengers that match that feat have to battle him to become champion.
I think we should have matches to decide the Elite 4. It'll be fun, and we can work out each others battle strategies, and alter them to disorientate challengers.
So far, the types i've got are: Water: Me, Steel: James, Psychic: Matt, Bug: LV, Poison: Tom, my friend here at uni, who is mostly responsible for this idea, and should be setting up the forum this will be based in.
I may have missed some, so sorry if I did, and let me know!

Well then, do me a fave and let me register as the first challenger then, because I definitely prefer having an universal-type team instead of a type specialist team.

When we battle to decide this should we use our types? cos I think some will be at a disadvantage when facing others, not me since Steel kicks a$$.

Yeah, that should be fine JB. It just means you can't be a GL or E4 member.
I think we should battle using our types. The E4 is decided by how strong our type-teams are, so if we use different Pokemon, then it wouldn't be a good indicator of how strong we are against each other.
by the way, I PM'd Ally about joining, but haven't had a definate response.
