This year is my graduating year. Even though the semester starts in June, I have to start preparing now. For OJT, applications to academies, etc. H--k, I started preparing for this moment ever since the start of summer, LAST YEAR! It's a wonder I still have time for this.
I'm sure I can put up a few more episodes of NLC, I can guarantee it. Just don't expect any fast updates anymore.

OJT?
Wait a minute, is summer beginning to end in the Philippines?
In the U.S, June is the beginning of summer, and that is the time when students (even in colleges) take a break, unless a person is in a year-round school.
I bring this up because it first sounded strange to me that you would be starting a semester in June, but then I realized that it may not be summertime in the Philippines.
Can we ever expect you to pick up the update pace faster, or is this permanent?
Anyways, good luck in school.

Well good luck with submitting your applications Dryuu, I'll be having to get my stuff in order to do the same thing pretty soon.
We'll still be waiting for those times when you are able to post.

OJT? Wait a minute, is summer beginning to end in the Philippines? On the Job Training. All college courses have that as a "mandatory subject" at the graduating year, which takes up more than 7 hours a week(checked the registration form). Also, Summer here begins April, and ends two months later. My physical training involves two hours a day in the gym. Not only does it take up most of my free time, it also spends my weekly P 100 allowance(from part-time tricycle job). Aside from that, my college enrollment takes quite a lot of time. After all, it's a large college, and I picked the wrong time, at the same time as approx. 100 others. In the U.S, June is the beginning of summer, and that is the time when students (even in colleges) take a break, unless a person is in a year-round school. I kinda figured that out from all the conversations around here. PS: Waiting for my updates? I doubt anyone HERE is waiting for it. I'm only resolving to finish it for those who "actually read" it there. And I still have a long way to go.

So, you are entering your graduating year?
I have yet to start reading your stories (and everyone else's), but I will soon.
But I still have one question:
Can we EVER expect you to pick up the update pace faster, or is this permanent?

Please forgive Paul. He is very stressed right now, because of the reasons he posted here. And he kept saying that all of you were very hard on him, because you ignore all the threads he started here.

No problem sweetgirl, he should take as much time off as he needs. Although there were points at which he has stated that before, I think that part of it might arise from the fact that you and Paul are the only two Mega Man shippers here. But if he feels that way then there is nothing that we can do for him right now. Just make sure to tell him that we will be waiting for his return whenever he wants to come back. People appreciate him more than he thinks.

It's not just about Megaman. He said he posted a game up but no one even cares to paticipate in it. And, every time I went to the computer today, he joins me for a second, and always looks up this thread. He said, and he told me to say it to all of you: 'no one gives a s**t if i leave or not.'

Well to be fair none of the game threads have been doing all that well as of late. I mean look at the current one, "Ways to torture Drew." After the quiz game fell through there really hasn't been all the much interest in those threads. I'll see if we can't get that started up then. Once people get the hang of it it shouldn't be all that hard to keep it going. Besides with all the pictures that I have on my computer I should be able to come up with a few good ones.
I really don't know what to say to him feeling unappreciated, except I for one wouldn't want him to leave. For one I'd loose the only other real Gundam enthusiast here besides me. Besides he's one of the top names in Advanceshipping fanfiction, people do have a lot of respect for him. Even if its not always shown.

Well, Cj, lets put it this way; I check all the threads, but only respond to the ones I want to/need to. (I am the admin, after all) However, since Paul either a) starts threads in subjects I'm not interested in, or b) writes fanfiction, and my reviewing skills aren't the best in the world, so..... Yeah, you got the point, hopefully.

Dryuu isn't the only person who post threads about topics that other members don't know about; look at Wolfofdoom, he puts up a bunch of threads that hardly, if ever, receive an answer. (Sorry for using you as an example, Wolf. I just had to) People usually don't post in threads that have a topic that they don't know about.
I made a thread about the game Dawn of War, but no one answered it so far. And only about two people know about the game Starcraft, so Dryuu is not alone in that account.
I started a forum game thread, but I received only a single response from it.
Dryuu, everyone agrees that we enjoy your company; just check the amount of karma you have. You have one of the most karma in this forum, even more than the Admin (sorry Stormburst).
Your stories attract a lot of attention too; "Trials of the Elite Four" racked up tons of reviews. You are even being nominated for "Best Advanceshipping Writer", and your story "Manhunt" is also being nominated.
I understand the stress you are going through right now.
