Advanceshipping FTW!=P Anyways...>.> No I don't find it as a threat. Their saga is over, but now we'll catch up with newer hints to (hopefully) come.=) I too think Drews saga is over, but i don't know about Mays. The only thing i hope for is that she won't suffer the same fate as Misty did.

Yes, this is an old topic, I know... But I just need to say it.
I recently just read the Contestshipping article on Bulbapedia. What can I say? Let me put it this way: Remember the SpongeBob episode "Frankendoodle," where the artist drops his pencil and shouts, "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!" at the top of his lungs toward the sky? Well, let's just say that I had a colossal urge to do that. Multiple times. The hints seemed too powerful to ignore it as commonplace behavior.
I'm scared, guys... T_T

^ You have to remember that it is a contestshipping article in Bulbapedia. The information there is biased, exaggerated. It is all to convince you that the ship is the closest to becoming canon, even if it is not true.

That would explain why it felt overwhelmingly suggestive and, therefore, why I felt like screaming at the top of my lungs... May I hear what the biases and exaggerations are, being one whose only full-blown, "official" exposure to AG was Destiny Deoxys?
Biases aside, I guess there's still a bright side... We have possible foreshadowing in our arsenal!

I've been to the article once, but I dare not go there again, so I can't name a specific example.

That bad, eh? Guess I shouldn't press the matter, then.
Thanks for relieving some of my worries, Praetor. ;D

Your welcome.
Remember that the contestshippers are so far cut off from any new "hints". If you want, you could ask some of the other members to go in there.

I would go but there would be nothing there but stuff about the roses and blushing which is all they have and other than a flashback when May is around I doubt Drew will ever be seen again
As May and company arrive at the Verdanturf Pokémon Center to see Drew handing his badly injured Roselia to Nurse Joy. They go up to him and find out it was hurt in a battle, to which Ash replies testily, "So you mean you lost?" As Drew leaves, he cautions May to watch out for a Coordinator called "The Phantom." From Bulbapedia
how it this a hint?

We have been there for other threads, its not a fun place. The only real hints that they have are some blushing and those roses.
But there is a better hint that I love that they put in there. I'm actually glad that they have it up there because it shows that they are getting desperate at times.
Now don't you just love their counter to Vineshipping?
And now if you excuse me I need to delete part of my browsing history to get rid of a few "contaminants".

Well if that is the case then why not Masquerain and Squirtle they in the same egg group and Dragonite can breed with those two as well, so if one them catches a Dragonite that will be a big hint as well

The Contestshipping hints page dose have it's hints, but it is the way in which it is written that makes all the difference. Like the Pearlshipping page generally looks at similarities beetween the two (met a legendary, have electric pokemon, first member of their team stays outside), thus uses bullet points. But the Contestshipping page is written more like a fanfic, if anything. A reason why that page is so powerful.

I checked it out, and this makes me laugh:
"Unlike PokéShipping, these points have not yet been debated extensively, and the following summaries can at this point only be considered to be showing how ContestShippers interpret events, not as being a conclusive interpretation agreed upon by all. "
Now, how they haven't been debated extensively, I don't know. Now, the ContestShipping Page looks like a big piece of junk. I honestly understand why they put that disclaimer. I have seen the PokeShipping page, and that page made me realize that they did have good hints, but ContestShipping is mostly the same hint over and over again.

I wouldn't really go that far, as a piece of junk. I mean it is a pretty nice job, done by the shippers there. Sure there's a few nitpicks, but on the whole it's an alright page. But I think that disclamer should really go for just about every ship. I mean let's be honest. The moment we accept that Ash may have had a crush on Misty is the moment that Pokeshippers Admit that Delia, and Mays parents would definately like to see Ash and May marry. Npot a good comparison, but you get the message
Both are as likely as seeing Ash's father. Not very.

True, but it's evident that there's a reaction on May's side, whereas Ash continued his air of being naïve about it when Misty approached him. Had May not reacted at all to some of the approaches, Contestshipping possibly wouldn't be as apparently threatening. That's my worry, anyway. But of course, a lack of recent hints (not to mention original) on the Contestshipping side kind of, indeed, cuts off oxygen for them.

Don't tell them that though (or Pokeshippers for that matter). They'll chew you out in saying that every single one of our hints show nothing but "friendship" while their's is already canon.
