Sorry for not making it clear, but I meant this... Yeah, that's what I was talking about not being able to dispute, unless you're just pointing out the fact that Brianna had a thing for Drew, which we already knew anyway.

Now that I feel like countering it, I will start it off first. The blushing seen at the screenshots (page 7-8) is out of embarrassment of being asked such a personal question. www.serebii.net/anime/pictures/kanto/439ps6.shtmlIf you look at the scenes before and after the contest, though, it shows signs of May trying to pair Drew up with Brianna. (pages 2-3 and 12)

Well I just watched that clip and there's only one for sure thing that I got off of it. Max has very little respect for Drew.
Other than that it seems as if May was just getting Brianna and Drew to shake hands. The couple screenshots in question basically includes this.
May: You know if you'd like to shake Drew's hand I'm sure he'd love to. Brianna: Oh ya! Really? Drew: I'd be happy to. Brianna: It's so awsome to meet you. May: You've done this before right? Drew: And you talk too much...
The last couple of lines correspond to the narrow eyed sceenshot.

Can you find the dialogue to when May blushes as well as the context for it?
Okay, the willingness of May to introduce Brianna to Drew can be interpreted as the first step towards pairing the two up. If May likes Drew, then she wouldn't take Brianna's liking to Drew very lightly. She probably wouldn't have even introduced Brianna to Drew if May liked him.

Okay, I watched the second and third parts of the episode on youtube just a little while ago. When May blushes backstage at the contest, its because Brianna accused her of liking Drew as more than just a rival and put her on the spot about it. When she blushes at the end, it's first when Drew looks at her and says, "So, two more ribbons to go." At this point, Brianna is already passed out in May's arms. Anyway, she then asks him how many ribbons he has, and he says something to the effect of, "Whose counting?" He then says something else about the ribbons to her and walks away, leaving her staring after him with a blush across the bridge of her nose.

If the blushing that occured when Brianna questioned May is because of "feelings", then would not the blushing and the sweatdropping that occured when Max questioned May about who she wanted to win with regards to the gym battle between Norman and Ash count as May's unwillingness to give a clear response as to who she likes?
I know, that is one long question.
May actually started to blush when Drew said, "only two more ribbons to go" and continued to blush. That does NOT show any romantic feelings; it was the embarrassment from being so humble or shy about her achievements towards the Grand Festival.
It is the same feeling when someone gives you a compliment or gift, and you begin to heat up inside.

I'd say yes. About the scene on the beach with Brianna: I think May was embarrassed because she still needed a few ribbons, while Drew not.

Ima gonna be mean and say the first blush was embarassment of the question. The second blush on the beach was maybe her reaction to the scene. It does seem kinda romantc, a beach, sunset, cute guy that you might have a crush on just complemented you and walked away in a sexy fashion... I think she has a crush but it'll probably dissapate over time. Then Drew gets married to Brianna, but they get a divorce afterwards Drew meets Zoey. Drew and Zoey talk and become friends soon after, Zoey falls in love with him, they get married and live happily ever after. Me and my conspiracy theories.xD

At least this is one place we can discuss it without being slammed by uber-fangirl drew mods who won't have a bar of anything against contestshipping.

That is right, you know. SPPF and BMGF are not that well known for fair mods now-a-days.
