Well, the point is to divert the attention to more favorable attributes. That's what the girl at our school does, and not much people talk about her weight as far as I have heard.

That's tough Praetor. And I feel odd coming here, but I need advice. There's this girl at school I kinds sorta might like, but I'm not so sure. tHe last girl I liked turned out to be just a short crush, and I don't want to start a relationship only to have it fall apart when I fall out of love. Plus... she's the daughter of a teacher who is also a Dram Club supervisor. I like Drama Club, and don't want to be denied it next year. Up until recently, I didn't know if she had any feelings for me... until she asked me my shoe size... and I told her........... (if you don't get that, I don't blame you) I'd ask her to a movie or something, but I am thinking of waiting until the new school year starts to make sure I REALLY DO have feelings for her. Oh comon, shoe size? Ofcourse I know what she could have meant, and if it was that way, it is my opinion she doesn't deserve you. Like Lucifer explained what could be the meaning of that comment, I'm sure you'll understand. @cascade: Keep in mind, always that love comes from within, not from the looks of the outside. Not even from men. The thing you do need to keep in mind is that (like you've experienced before...) that there are boys/men at that age with too many hormones... So basically, some of them only want some fun for the time being, no long term relationship. And if so, they don't deserve you. No matter if you are 'suffering' from overweight... You did know that actually a lot of men like women with some 'body'? @all: wow, I see I've missed alot last few hours. Don't spam this forum when I'm not around plz!!

Don't worry lass. I'm overweight, and have been ever since I was 12. This is mainly because:
I ate lots of crap at school lunch, I can't ride a bike (seriously!), I simply CANNOT be arsed with the gym.
Bearing in mind I usually eat 3 fry-ups a week, and go to Subway fairly often, I'm amazed I can move.
Swimming, walking up and down hills everyday for uni, and archery help me stay......less chubby.
There's nothing wrong with being overweight. Personally, I find girls more attractive if they've got a little extra. It's better than being stick-thin and constantly ill.
And I was mates with a guy who was a jerk to everyone except me, some of his other friends, and this one girl. That's how we could tell he liked her. Kinda like Paul in your last fic. A jerk to everyone but his girl.
Brownies are always good. Just don't do cake. The cake is a lie. ;D
.....That wasn't really love advice at all, was it?

God d**n bed times, I miss everything.>.> Okie dokie lets see what I can give to cascade... Overweight, overshmaight. Seriously, I have tons of friends who are overweight. When it comes to my body Ima not the best in the world either. (Ima trying to loose weight, not for looks but for health.=3) And appearently what the boys say is true about personality even about then how Dave puts it, 'extra' . Mainly because most of my friends who have ever had a crush on me are way thinner than me. It's personality, and whatnot. So you have a 97% chance of getting rejected, well if you have some god awful luck like me, then I would wait for a bit. If I had maybe a 54% chance (this is actually more like mine give or take) then yeah, but really. You have a 3% chance, maybe the odds are with you this time. And yes, you have a kid, I have an 18 year old neighbor with a 1 1/2 year old kid and she has a boyfriend who comes over everyday. Since I am not a guy, why don't they tell you if they'd go out with a girl who has a kid.=3
Wait...thats what the shoe size means?xD You guys have given me some ideas now for monday now.xD

@ Dave: I can't ride a bike either. I remember that last time I tried, which when I was like 9, I got on the bike as it was set up in the kitchen of my home, no training wheels. I was able to sit for approximately 4 seconds before the bike fell over sideways, resulting in a busted lip, since I was, you know, stupid enough to get on the bike in the kitchen. Interestingly enough, I've never actually made brownies, but I have made cake. And it burned, so it is indeed, in many ways, a lie, because it didn't come out looking like the prissy little batter mix box said it would.
@nn: Yes, bed times do suck. I became immune to them at around age 13 =p
Thanks guys, I do feel a lot better now. I was just having a moment last night and decided to drag you all into it. Maybe I'll eventually tell them, maybe not, but now I definitely do feel better either way. I seriously didn't know that there were ppl in the world that didn't have an issue when it comes to ppl's weight, coz like even most of my family finds fault with me for it. *shrugs* At least you guys are cool =D (and I mean all of you, not only Dave and NN, lol)

PokeTrance - You stole the point I wanted to make this morning; if the guys are only looking for a slim, pretty girl, then it is best not to get together with him.
Like I said before, take advice from the girls here who do have relationships like Sweetgirl and Stanmarsh.

Dryuu, now Redeemer Ryu, and Sweetgirl are a couple around your age How old is Cascade? Paul and I have a 4 year gap in age. I used to be overweight, and I also wear glasses, but it didn't matter. Of the entire time Paul and I were in the same school, it took him 4 years to notice me (he was sophomore when he transferred to our school; I was Grade 5). But even after that, we just became friends. Many people that time thought our friendship weird, between a freshman and senior, especially with Paul's current relationship then. But we don't care. We shared a lot in common: same interests, we both wear glasses, he isn't overweight like me but eats like Jughead Jones of the comics. He broke up with his first girlfriend (I forgot the name) two years after his graduation. And when he told me that, he also told me he and she weren't meant to be, but he told me we were. Paul may try to be tough, but he really is a sweet person inside.
